This brains, they look like they came from a cow or a calf, in Lima I have tried some brains at La Gloria, my favourite restaurant in town.
Part of our Lima classic tour we visit the central market in chinatown, this is a very chaotic and messy part of town, yet is great to walk around, to see the people going around their daily chores, not trip to Lima should miss a visit here.

So these two asshats in the photo are the brains guys behind the group Flickr Group Roulette. Perhaps you've heard of it?
I hardly ever play along anymore, but I love lurking in there and reading the ridiculous and hilarious discussions and fun they all have. And Clem and I go way back...like, over two years ago or something! That's like, practically FOREVER in Internet terms!
Anyway, this calendar I'm holding is the first item up for sale at the Fugger Store. Despite the asshattery from both these guys, they have hearts in there, and decided to use their powers for good (while still having fun with the evil, of course).
ALL proceeds for sales go to charity. All of them.
This is the first of many products that will be for sale. It wasn't expensive, and I get to feel good about buying it. It looks fabulous and is great quality, too!
So go get your own before they are all sold out, and definitely bookmark the store and check back for more products!

Katie gives a thumbs up to the calf brains I was about to help Scot "The Shameless Carnivore" Gold fry up. Also on the menu that night, salted bonemarrow, a delicious kidney stew and, er, jambalaya.
The brains, once breaded and fried, tasted like weirdly overcooked fishsticks. Although maybe, if this is the right term, "greasier" on the inside.
