Jeff and I had a ton of fun at the BoardGameGeek convention in Texas a couple of weeks ago. Huge thanks to the #BGGcon staff, sponsors and volunteers for making this event possible! I believe approx 3200 attended (possibly more?).

Feel free to scoop/share/repost/tag if know the people in the photo won't mind; a photo credit would be appreciated, thanks!

Feel free to share/repost for personal use, if you know the people in the photo won't mind. Also feel free to tag people in these photos but again, only if you know the people won't mind.

If you like board/tabletop games or want to know more, I highly recommend you checking out the amazing community over at BoardGameGeek.com/ They're doing their annual fundraising campaign right now (I just donated) and LOOK, one of the photos I took is at the top of the page: boardgamegeek.com/support I'm grateful to the BGG community for so many reasons. One of them: they supported me and my art years before any of my children's books got published -- I so appreciate their early encouragement of my comics. :-)

Enchanted Forest gets mixed reviews from the critics, but I liked it a lot as a kid, mainly for the very nice board and the well-made plastic trees.

I still have the card table - my friends may know it as the one whose top is now covered with a varnished collage US Presidential portraits. Unfortunately, the legs are incurably wobbly and it's really not much use as a card table anymore; I'm working on separating the collage and we'll see what happens after that.

$20 / Great condition, only played once. This game is out of print.

Settlers of Catan @ Geek Game Night. If you are familiar with the rules, you'll notice me cheating with my red settlement next to the white one. In my defense, I "misunderstood" the rules.

Tired and unshaven.

Boardgame Night with Boardgame Night with Ticket To Ride.

Picture 2 of 3.

A boardgame night was not planned and we did not have a large choice, luckily there was a copy of Ticket To Ride available. Fun was had and I came in 2nd with 132 points with a good end game scoring, but lost out to Norm, who scored 153 with some good passenger scoring.
