Wish you a good weekend. Labor Day weekend for the US and Canada!
Korth's Meadow - Iowa
Yesterday was an extraordinary autumn day in north Iowa. Bright sunlight, a crisp cool breeze, pristine blue skies, big puffy clouds and some fall color yet in hidden areas.
Yes, it's my local favorite place to hike and explore, but yesterday was quite unique.

Mull Boats In Mono © Jeremy Malley-Smith
During the recent workshop on the Scottish Isle of Mull with 3 great clients, we photographed the 3 ruined boats. I hope you like my mono version. I think the high(er) tide adds reflection whilst the full clouds give drama in the sky.

Theme of the year to celebrate the start of spring time as it has been some days since I took some blue hour pictures in my street ... panorama stitcher from 7
Took Wednesday morning of work and headed for North Wales to shoot a few locations before heading back to the office for the afternoon.
An early 4am start, I was feeling it come mid afternoon whilst dialled into a meeting!
High tide times very nicely with sunrise, but the light never made an appearance, just a big bank of cloud over head.
I do enjoy being by the sea.

The Oura Archipelago is a group of islands near the city of Pori in Finland. It is a part of the municipality of Merikarvia. The archipelago consists of approximately 300 islands. It is part of the Bothnian Sea National Park, that was established in 2011. The main island Ouranluoto has several tourist services. It can be reached by the harbour of Krookka.
The Oura Archipelago is famous for the Oura-opera which was written by Finnish author Arvo Salo. It was performed from 2002 to 2005 in Krookka harbour on Merikarvia municipality. A new opera is still performed yearly at Krookka.
