I decided on the 1885 rather than the Via Nirone, and it is a cracking bike. Still taking some getting used too from my mountain bike.

The Top Tube has always been to long and never been able to get a fit that didnt hurt my back. So, I decide to go with these Velo-Orange Portuer Bars. The plan is to class it up as an old style city bike with a brooks saddle down tube shifters and eventually a porter front rack of some kind.

K-Force XC risers and OS-140 stem. Big Cheese grips, and a nice red bell. Avid Speed Dial levers.

This has become one of my favorite spots over the years. A classic location by the Ocean Beach pier. I love the lights off the pier in the distance.

Upgrades include Fizik aliante sport saddle and Fizik microtex bar tape,Vittoria rubino III tires, Cannondale C3 stem, Ritchey headset and Keo carbon pedals. It is a 57 cm that weighs in at about 18 lbs with its carbon fork and seatstays.
