I had no idea as to the intricacy of the pistils in the female begonia flower. I loved how the morning sun and dew fell on this flower.
A red begonia photographed in a garden along Carlton Crescent, Kogarah Bay (Sydney, Australia) with my Samsung Galaxy S20+, during April, 2020. I am reluctantly using the Samsung mobile phone camera whilst I agonise over which DSLR, or mirrorless DSLR, to purchase, to replace my Canon 60D which met its end and is no longer here!
I'm a little obsessed with the Lensbaby Double Glass II at the moment. Shot wide open for maximum blur and softness. Also used macro filters. i can't resist frilly flowers either.

Seen at a begonia festival. Originally we were going to have a picnic at Hanging Rock but they closed it due to extreme heat.
