I recently visited Abu Dhabi. In a dessert outside of the city I was participating in sand bashing, which was driving in the dessert and sliding down the sand dunes. It was great fun :-D

Taken with my iPhone.

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, comment, and/or fave my photo.

NS 1070 Wabash glides through Steward, IL with a westbound M/T oil can.

In Massachusett's Bash Bish Falls State Park bordering New York's Tatonic State Park. During Covid visitors from both sides of the falls were recorded in the thousands and both state parks had to be shut down intermittantly for safety. The falls originate from a spring in Massachsetts and cascade down 1000 ft. What you see here is the last 60 feet.

Legend has it that Bash-Bish was a Mohican Native American woman, thrown from the top of the falls to her death for infidelity. It is said she haunts the falls and is responsible for the 25 deaths that have occurred here over the past 100 years.

Dune Bashing is basically a form of off-roading done on sand dunes, usually in big 4X4 vehicles like the Toyota Land Cruiser or Fortuner. It basically involves driving at varying speeds over sand dunes and maneuvering the car in such a way as to maintain balance while going up the dune and coming down.

I am Enjoying a second childhod ..........Reading Comic Albums,

I am thinking of buying a Catapult, is that sensible at my age ??

This sequence of shots shows a Song Thrush dealing with a snail. It took about four sessions of bashing to break all the shell off the snail. As the bird brings the snail down on the rock the nictitating membrane (third eyelid) covers the eye to prevent it from damage

A shot of Bash Bish Falls from June. It's nice to see the right side flowing nicely now.

The Bash Raider is not the most elegant of ships, it was added to the pirate fleet after being constructed from the pieces of previous kills. It may not have a smooth finish, but it has no trouble finishing its foes...

Bizarre design process occurred on this one. The main goal was to build something with a more chaotic look than I normally do and so I looked up some kit bashing references. It is heavily based on this Reddit kitbash, but the picture I originally saw was the rear and that was the look I liked. So I think for the first time ever I built the back first and still like the rear view more than the front view.

Sabe o bloqueio?

Boa quinta! =D

Bash Bish Falls might be the most spectacular waterfall in the state Massachusetts. It's literally located on the state line of NY and MA in Mt. Washington, MA. (It's a thirty second drive up from Taconic State Forrest which is in Copake Falls, NY.) Bash Bish is an all-star attraction guaranteed to satisfy. The falls plummet through a series of dramatic gorges before finally cascading about 80 feet into sparkling pools of water. Even if there hasn't been much rain, Bash Bish is still a picturesque scene but when it has received a lot of rain or snow melts it's unlikely you'll see a better waterfall in all of New England. source:www.berkshirehiking.com

Bash Bish Falls in October. As always a challenge to photograph the upper section properly. Shot on Fuji Realia Film.

By the time the afternoon Norwich to Great Yarmouth departed the sun had done one.Lots of Bashers today and the two 37s made a fine departure. I see one Ralitour was cancelled recently because of bad behavior ( window hanging and bellowing) Now I wonder who the younger enthusiasts learned that from!
