El Valle de Pineta, forma parte del Parque Natural de Ordesa y Monte Perdido en la comarca de Sobrarbe. Un valle muy sobrecogedor por las altas y escarpadas montañas que se formaron como consecuencia del arrastre de desechos como producto del deshielo, esto mismo hace que el valle tenga la forma de U. Su paisaje cautiva por la frondosidad de sus bosques y prados, junto a ellos sobresalen las espectaculares caídas de agua que bajan de lo alto de la montañas.
Gracias a sus elevaciones resulta ser el lugar ideal para practicar deportes de alta montaña. En su cresta sur se observa una sección de picos que superan los 2.500 metros de altura, hacia el extremo sur sobresale un trío de picos conocidos como las tres Marías. Siguiendo hacia la cresta norte el terreno se vuelve menos escarpado.

Si bien la palabra bajan se usó para mencionar la lengua informal(mezcla de inglés con creole) utilizada por los habitantes de Barbados, (Antillas menores).
En la actualidad este término se utiliza allí, para identificar un “estilo de vida”…. , música comida educación forma de pensar…. Ser bajan es ser de Barbados ...
En un comienzo la palabra bajan era el nombre dado a la lengua informal hablada por las personas de Barbados, en la cual se mezclan inglés y creole. Pero, en la actualidad, este término ganó una amplitud mucho mayor. Las obligaciones diarias tienen idéntica importancia que relajarse y aprovechar la naturaleza es decir la vida,,,
Ser bajan es “ pertenecer” … integrarse a todo aquello que es de Barbados, desde la descendencia hasta el modo de hablar, desde la gastronomía local hasta las canciones típicas y desde la forma de pensar hasta la educación. Barbados es hoy en día uno de los destinos paradisíacos del mar Caribe, un lugar ideal para relajarse, perderse y olvidarse de todo!!! Bueno….no tanto…hay WFI gratuito en toda la isla!

Durante una reunión con compañeros de Flickr de la que disfruté a finales de junio tuve la oportunidad de conseguir realizar esta fotografía. Estuvimos comiendo en un txoko que estaba justo enfrente del edificio de la clínica del IMQ de Zorrotzaurre, en Bilbao, la fotografía está hecha desde la terraza del txoko, bajo un sol de justicia y con el termómetro cerca de de los 40º... si no los superaba...

Después de bastante tiempo sin ir a Sanabria aproveché este fin de semana para hacer una ruta fotográfica buscando de forma especial las cascadas de los ríos y arroyos que bajan con bastante caudal. Esta foto es la primera de una serie que iré publicando.
Esra cascadita corresponde a un arroyo llamado "arroyo del Baillo", que baja por el pueblo de San Ciprián de Sanabria, y desemboca en el río Trefacio. Mi intención no era quedarme aquí, sino llegar por una ruta de senderismo hasta la cascada de los Vados, pero no fue posible, la parte superior de la cascadita es el camino de la ruta, pero había tanta agua, que ni siquiera pude dar un breve paseo, aquí me quedé sin remedio. Al menos pude sacar esta foto nada habitual, porque en condiciones normales el agua discurre mansamente entre las piedras.

Après ne pas être allé à Sanabria pendant longtemps, j'ai profité de ce week-end pour faire un parcours photographique, à la recherche notamment des cascades des rivières et ruisseaux qui coulent avec beaucoup de débit. Cette photo est la première d'une série que je vais publier.
Cette petite cascade correspond à un ruisseau appelé "arroyo del Baillo", qui traverse la ville de San Ciprián de Sanabria et se jette dans la rivière Trefacio. Mon intention n'était pas de rester ici, mais d'arriver en randonnée à la cascade de Vados, mais ce n'était pas possible, la partie supérieure de la cascade est le chemin du parcours, mais il y avait tellement d'eau que je ne pouvais même pas prendre un coup d'oeil courte marche, ici j'étais sans espoir. Au moins j'ai pu prendre cette photo insolite, car dans des conditions normales l'eau s'écoule doucement entre les pierres.
Nachdem ich lange Zeit nicht nach Sanabria gefahren bin, habe ich dieses Wochenende genutzt, um eine fotografische Route zu machen, wobei ich besonders nach den Wasserfällen der Flüsse und Bäche gesucht habe, die mit viel Strömung nach unten fließen. Dieses Foto ist das erste einer Reihe, die ich veröffentlichen werde.
Dieser kleine Wasserfall entspricht einem Bach namens "arroyo del Baillo", der durch die Stadt San Ciprián de Sanabria fließt und in den Fluss Trefacio mündet. Meine Absicht war nicht, hier zu bleiben, sondern zu Fuß zum Vados-Wasserfall zu gelangen, aber es war nicht möglich, der obere Teil des Wasserfalls ist der Pfad der Route, aber es gab so viel Wasser, dass ich nicht einmal mitnehmen konnte ein Blick, kurzer Spaziergang, hier war ich hoffnungslos. Immerhin konnte ich dieses ungewöhnliche Foto machen, denn unter normalen Bedingungen fließt das Wasser sanft zwischen den Steinen hindurch.

Before we were soaked by the hailstorm that caught us in the La Barranca forest, we were able to take some long exposure photos of the waterfalls in one of the streams which descend from the mountains.
It was a moment of serenity and calm, which we enjoyed until it started to rain and then to hail.

Antes de acabar empapados por la granizada que nos pilló en bosque de La Barranca, pudimos tomar unas fotos de larga exposición de las cascadas que se forman en uno de los arroyos que bajan desde las montañas.
Fue un momento de serenidad y sosiego, que disfrutamos hasta que empezó a llover y después granizar.

The valley of Pineta is closed in a fairly steep wall, in its upper part where the waterfalls come from is the circus and the balcony of Pineta. Those who have managed to climb to the Balcón de Pineta cannot leave the site without seeing the Marboré lake. A site that offers the best panoramic views of the Monte Perdido Glacier, located between Monte Perdido and Cilindro.

El Valle de Pineta, forma parte del Parque Natural de Ordesa y Monte Perdido en la comarca de Sobrarbe. Un valle muy sobrecogedor por las altas y escarpadas montañas que se formaron como consecuencia del arrastre de desechos como producto del deshielo, esto mismo hace que el valle tenga la forma de U. Su paisaje cautiva por la frondosidad de sus bosques y prados, junto a ellos sobresalen las espectaculares caídas de agua que bajan de lo alto de la montañas.
Gracias a sus elevaciones resulta ser el lugar ideal para practicar deportes de alta montaña. En su cresta sur se observa una sección de picos que superan los 2.500 metros de altura, hacia el extremo sur sobresale un trío de picos conocidos como las tres Marías. Siguiendo hacia la cresta norte el terreno se vuelve menos escarpado.
El valle de Pineta se cierra en una pared bastante escarpada, en su parte alta de donde proceden las caídas de agua se encuentra el circo y el balcón de Pineta. Quienes han logrado subir hasta el Balcón de Pineta no pueden marcharse del sitio sin conocer el ibón de Marboré. Un sitio que ofrece las mejores panorámicas del Glaciar de Monte Perdido, ubicado entre Monte Perdido y Cilindro.

The Pineta Valley is part of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido Natural Park in the Sobrarbe region. This Sunday morning we took a walk from Navacerrada to the surroundings of Navalmedio Reservoir, in Cercedilla.
I forgot at home to take the polarizing filter, and what was my disappointment when I arrived at these waterfalls and did not have it. Well I managed as best I could to get this slow shutter photo.
These waterfalls are part of the Arroyo de Navalmedio, and go down from Puerto de Navacerrada to Navalmedio Reservoir. All this environment is part of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, about 34 miles (55 km) away from Madrid, Spain.

Esta mañana de Domingo dimos un paseo desde Navacerrada hasta los alrededores del Embalse de Navalmedio, en Cercedilla.
Se me olvidó en casa coger el filtro polarizador, y cuál fue mi decepción al llegar a estas cascadas y no tenerlo. Bueno, me apañé como pude para obtener esta foto de obturación lenta.
Estas cascadas forman parte del del Arroyo de Navalmedio, y bajan desde el Puerto de Navacerrada hasta el Embalse de Navalmedio. Todo este entorno integra el Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Guadarrama, a unos 55 kms de Madrid, España.

The glacier was said to be advancing downstream at a rate of between 1.50m and 3m per day, under the pressure of the mass of ice accumulating at the top, and is crumbling and breaking as it meets the Rico River.
The glacier crumbles and breaks up when it meets the Rico River, but in the centre of the picture is the area where the glacier occasionally blocks the flow of water from the left-hand branch of the Rico, and the water accumulates in the upper branch and the flow decreases in the lower branch, which flows into the lake. The water then accumulates in the upper arm, the flow decreases on the lower arm which joins the lake. The water gradually digs into the base of the glacier..... which, at the critical moment, collapses, releasing enormous masses of water.This sudden influx of water rushes downstream, tearing away part of the banks in the process....... To this end, the footbridges do not go down to the bottom of the slope from which the photo was taken...

Se dice que el glaciar está avanzando río abajo a un ritmo de entre 1,50 m y 3 m por día, bajo la presión de la masa de hielo que se acumula en la cima, y se está desmoronando y rompiendo al encontrarse con el río Rico.
El glaciar se desmorona y se rompe al encontrarse con el río Rico, pero en el centro de la imagen se encuentra la zona en la que el glaciar bloquea ocasionalmente el flujo de agua de la rama izquierda del Rico, y el agua se acumula en la rama superior y el flujo disminuye en la rama inferior, que desemboca en el lago. El agua se acumula entonces en el brazo superior, el caudal disminuye en el brazo inferior que se une al lago. El agua va cavando poco a poco en la base del glaciar..... que, en el momento crítico, se derrumba, liberando enormes masas de agua.Esta repentina afluencia de agua se precipita río abajo, arrancando parte de las orillas en el proceso....... Para ello, las pasarelas no bajan hasta el fondo de la ladera desde la que se tomó la foto...

After a wonderful trip to the beautiful Island of Barbados in the Caribbean, I managed to capture a few delightful images, this is one of them a beautiful flower for which I sadly didn't ask the name but fell on our fence that was in front of our beach villa. The villa was surrounded by palm trees and tropical leaves and stunning flowers and I took this image as the sunlight shone through giving the most amazing bokeh. Otra imagen de las cascadas que bajan por el arroyo de Matasalgado y que desembocan en el Embalse de Navalmedio.
Utilicé una exposición larga de 20 segundos para enfatizar el efecto sedoso del agua en movimiento.
Algunos carámbanos se formaron después de una noche bastante fría en el Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Guadarrama.

Desde que llegaron las 256 de Captrain las Bitrac se fueron a hacer otros trenes, en esta ocasión, dos Bitrac bajan por la bifurcación de Olloniego con un vacío de bobinas Sagunto-Trasona.
