Another photo taken on our Costa Rica adventure. This was the biggest and baddest of all the Sabrewing Hummingbirds. He would return to the same spot time after time to rest from his self appointed duties of keeping all the other hummingbirds and bananaquits away from the feeders. After a good long time I was able to inch closer and closer to him. I think he enjoyed having his portrait taken. A beautiful bully.

Ray looked at Donna. She was very serious about wondering who he was before the Atom. So was he. He didn't really remember. Seinfeld wasn't there. Sean wasn't there. It was all just... normal.

Ray thought back to his farthest memory. It was a memory of he and Donna meeting, and how they stopped Bug Eyed Bandit. His old friend. But that wasn't the point. He had to do something important right now, and that didn't involve Donna.

"Uh, sorry Donna I gotta go somewhere really quick. The fate of a speedster is up to me."

"A speedster? You mean Jamie?"

"Nope, one of her old friends though."

"Well... I guess we can talk about this later."

"Yes, I think we can. See ya babe!"

Ray went to the "Battlerz" which was a club that held rap battles. As fate would have it, Jay Garrick was there at the time (who we will call Old Garrick to not get confused with Dino's Jay).

Atom stepped up to the stage, as he was a regular. People cheered, and asked who he was to battle. He only replied with, "The Baddest Mad in the Whole Damn Town".

Ray cleared his throat.

"Ahem. Jay? Mr. Jay Garrick? Please come up to the stage."

Old Garrick responded, but did not come up to the stage.

"Hey cmon Jay. You and I were pals. Lets just have one battle as friends."

"No Ray. I'm not going to become one of your puppets."

"That's too bad. Because I was one of yours."

Everyone booed Jay. The story that was never told about Jay and Ray was about to become public.

"Alright. Let's get Started then shall we Jay?"

"Step off the stage Ray. Before you get hurt."

"I already was."

Music started to play. Atom beings to rap.

"I thought I was your homie,

But It turns out you don't know me

You thought you could stay

You thought you could play

You thought that you could try and mess with me

Ray starts to rap.

The crowd goes wild. Ray drops the microphone, only to see Jay being erased from this world. A new Jay was arriving, and this Jay wasn't needed. This Jay no longer existed.

"So how'd it go?"

"Perfectly."

"Have you thought about what I said?"

"Yeah. Remember Bug Eyed Bandit?"

"Sure."

"Well... we weren't exactly... enemies."

That's when Ray heard the pan drop to the floor.

I had my camera gear with me perchance when the storm started, so I jumped at the chance of a few lightening shots, and set up on the beach.

This was the biggest, baddest lightning strike I saw, which basically scared me off the beach. This was taken wide angle at 20mm, but despite that, just look how thick the thing is!

No Photoshopping here - just as nature in all her wrath intended.
