So Gabby the awesomesauce owner of My Funky Camera found some cupcake ribbon and made ONE OF KIND wristlets!!!! She teased me on Facebook with them then said she'd send 'em. I totally only half read email and stuff and thought wow I wonder if it'll be pink or blue.

They both showed up. I peed myself a little from giddyness. She's totally the cream in my twinkie. She wrote on the back of her card "I hope you like them". Like!?! Oh Gabby you're soooo funny, like. Ha! I want to divorce Mr. Bacon and marry THEM!!!

Y'all go and check out her awesome camera staps, wristlets and jotters. I'll send you a cupcake tattoo if you do :0)

The apparent sprites are due east in this photo. There's very little beyond those mountains that could contribute light pollution and be confused for sprites.

For those about to rock, Prime salutes you.

Our Saturday mornings go something like this: wake up, shower, get dressed and eat, or wake up, eat, shower and get dressed. I'd like to lounge around in my jammies a bit while sipping a cup of coffee, but the toddler always has other plans.

As the Doodle nears two years of age, she's getting more and more self-sufficient. There are the tasks she can now do for herself with little to no assistance or guidance, and then there are tasks that she'd like to do on her own, but just isn't capable of doing so yet. That's when she calls out, "Help please!"

The Doodle has always been a fan of picking out her outfits. Her very first self-selected and styled outfit included a white onesie, pink tutu, and swim diaper cover tied around her neck. She thought she looked awesome, and she looked so ridiculously awesome you couldn't help but to break out in a grin.

Now that she can access all of her clothes, the Doodle selects her clothes on a daily basis. Sometimes, we'll pull out two things and give her a choice. Other times we'll explain why a certain outfit - a swimsuit for example - isn't the best choice for the activities we have planned that day and we'll steer her towards something else. And sometimes we'll walk into her room and she's already working on getting dressed.

It's pretty handy that the Doodle can dress her lower half on her own now. Potty training led to learning how to push down our pants and pull them up, and then one day she just figured out how to put her legs in her pants all by herself.

Good morning red skinny jeans! A perfect choice at 7:30 am on this sunny winter day.

From a massive Swedish cook book called Vegania by Nina Andersson. (Except the original recipe uses hazelnuts instead of the walnuts depicted above... and I think the nicest nuts to put on food are whole cashews. :)

Mushroom and spinach sauce with nuts

4 servings

200 g of mushrooms, sliced

5 dl (about 2 cups) of soy milk, oat milk or the like

1 vegetable stock cube

200 g (5-6 handfuls) of spinach (chopped or not)

2.5 table spoons of wheat flour

White pepper

Shredded nutmeg

1 dl of coarsely chopped walnuts

-Fry the mushrooms in a bit of oil.

-Add the soy / oat milk and the vegetable stock cube.

-Bring to a boil.

-Add the spinach and allow the sauce to simmer again.

-Stir the flour into a bit of water or plant milk, then add it to the sauce while you stir.

-Add white pepper and nutmeg to taste. [I OVERDID THE WHITE PEPPER 8D ]

-Roast the nuts in a dry pan until golden brown. [I skipped that part...]

-Serve the sauce with pasta, potatoes or the like, and sprinkle the nuts on top.

A good reading year, 2008. :) I found several faves! It may have something to do with the fact that in the summer I graduated from uni, where I'd been locked up with numerous heavy textbooks since 2003. I was pretty STARRRRRRRRVED for leisure reading. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Starting dates, titles, authors and any comments I may have... :)

23-Jan-2008: 1. "Trainspotting" by Irvine Welsh

One of my fave books, I suppose. :) I had already seen the movie, which is also one of my faves. So is Ewan McGregor. And Scottish accents. :|

12-Feb-2008... I think: 2. "Asperger syndrom" (That's Swedish rather than a misspelling) by Christopher Gillberg

Who, me? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT %P

17-Feb-2008: 3. "Jag avskyr ordet normal" (Swedish for "I hate the word normal") by Malin Nordgren

Another Swedish Aspie book. :) I don't hate the word "normal." I do hate people who automatically attach a positive meaning to it. 8) PS. Here is somebody else's great blog post on the subject of normal people. :B

18-Feb-2008: 4. "Unweaving the rainbow" by Richard Dawkins.

OMFFSM IT'S SO AWESOMESAUCE. 8D Three years after reading it I still think about chapter 1 pretty much every day. :) Almost everything Dawkins says is sensible. :D #smileyoveruse

27-Feb-2008: 5. "Djuren - i människans klor" by... a bunch of people, I think.

A Swedish little book about various animal / people relationships.

5-Mar-2008: 6. "On human nature" by Edward O. Wilson

3-Apr-2008: 7. "Guns, germs, and steel" by Jared Diamond

I recommend this.

7-Jun-2008: 8. "Animal farm" by George Orwell

9-Jun-2008: 9. "1984" by George Orwell

Went onto my fave list. :)

16-Jun-2008: 10. "The road" by Cormac McCarthy

Haven't seen the movie yet but I will. Not because I was crazy about the book; I just like to see pretty much every movie based on books I've read. :B

19-Jun-2008: 11. "The world without us" by Alan Weisman

Mmmmmmmmmmm. :B It also offers interesting and important bits about our current situation. Fave.

5-Jul-2008: 12. "The God delusion" by Richard Dawkins

READ THIS TOO. DO IT. :) Kthxbai.

18-Jul-2008: 13. "Heart-shaped box" by Joe Hill

Teh funs for a Nine Inch Nails fan, heehee! :D

21-Jul-2008: 14. "The diversity of life" by Edward O. Wilson

5-Aug-2008: 15. "Animal liberation" by Peter Singer

MY FAVOURITE BOOK. So if I could recommend 1 book to everyone, THIS WOULD BE IT. :O When it becomes possible to download books directly into one's brain, I shall learn to write virus programs (by... downloading the knowledge into my brain?) and infect you all. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA

16-Aug-2008: 16. "The elegant universe" by Brian Greene

My ex-email addy contained the phrase yoze_hates_physics, but this book on string theory is MATH FREE :D and a rather enjoyable mindfuck! :)

13-Sep-2008: 17. "Dude, where's my country?" by Michael Moore

17-Sep-2008: 18. "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer

I'M NOT A TWITARD I'M JUST GONNA READ ALL THE BOOKS K. And... see all the movies... at the cinema... :|

24-Sep-2008: 19. "The complete guide to Asperger's syndrome" by Tony Attwood

:B *hugs book, which proceeds to scream*

5-Oct-2008: 20. "Plan B 3.0: Mobilizing to save civilization" by Lester R. Brown

JUST. READ. IT. Which you can do ONLINE FOR FREE! :D

30-Oct-2008: 21. "The ancestor's tale" by Richard Dawkins

About evolution. Btw, you know what would be EXTREMELY KEWL?!?!?! If you could obtain photos of each of your great-great-great-great-and-so-on grandmothers - back to the ancestral cell - and line up the photos in the correct order (you - mum ----- ancestral cell) and walk along them and look at them all. :) :D 8D It might take a while. And be impossible and stuff. But awesome. :D ... #smileyoveruse

29-Dec-2008: 22. "Doing democracy" by Bill Moyer

Interesting if you're in any kind of movement... :q

Is a description really nesessary? :P

It's almost SHIPtember, and I'm super excited as my Bricklink orders start to come in! This year, in my first hopefully successful attempt to build a SHIP, I've decided to incorporate a bunch of one of my favorite pieces: the Trans-Dark Pink Pods.

I've notably used these before on my last two Brickworld outings--the first being for Poison Ivy's Plants in 2014, and then this past Brickworld for the hearts of my Sentinels.

The pods are among my absolute favorite pieces, along with 1x1 Trans-Clear Headlight Bricks, Vertical Girders, and 27 Length Rigid Hoses.

As I mentioned early, but am only elaborating on upon apparently, I'll be using these pods for my 2015 SHIPtember er ship. Although the bulk of the ship will be plate based, and with be predominately spikey reddish brown with intense black tubing--very organic and bug like. Incidentally...I now want more of these pods...I can never have enough...

My new XOAR PJP-T-L-INS props on my DJI Inspire 1 drone, which I affectionately call "RRD-1."

These props make a noticeable difference in responsiveness to control inputs in all axis, the drone seems more stable in flight and when hovering due to being 100% perfectly balanced by XOAR prior to shipping, and I believe XOAR's claims of increasing efficiencies of the four motors, due to the fact the CW/CCW pairs have the same pitch and same weight, the maximum tolerance of weight difference for each pair is 0.5 gram; this guarantees consistent performance - same torque is produced by the motors on each pair of opposite arms.

The superior strength reduces flexing of the tips in flight which noticeably lowers prop noise and vibration to yield a stable, responsive, smooth, accurate and quieter flight compare to the stock DJI Plastic Props (unbalanced) when flying with the original X3 or the New Zenmuse X5 Camera.

While standing over the freeway bridge on the first day of the new decade, watching all of the people i will never meet coming back form places i may never see. I came to realize that there were hardly any cars traveling north. causing me to belive that the reason there was hardly anything to do new years eve is because no one was here, everyone was up north partying like its 1999. who knows....

Meanwhile, back in my room i have rediscovered the reason why i can't get this song out of my head, probably because i keep hitting repeat. But now i see why they call it "trance". the beat is so fast, you want to get up and flail around and keep up with it, but the melodies and smoothe bass rhythems are so hypnotic that you are only left with the option to sway in steady motion while nodding your head to the beat instead... or something like that. either way, i've spun around in my chair too much to care what you think about it, just listen to THIS. Preferably the last 7 minutes of the song... I don't drink or do drugs, nor am i dancing, yet this song still manages to give me motion sickness, without the sickness. confusing yet? exactly, you are now all victim to my logical retardation and thus are covered in awesomesauce. Enjoy the new decade and lets make 2011 so awesome that the chinese astrologists have to rename it the year of the chuck norris!

Just in case it wasn't random enough for you, here's the full story.

You always hear about the storm front, but never the storm back.

Deirdre and the three daughters, the twins Rhiannon and Konoe (Yes they know they don't look like twins!) and the youngest Jenica. There is another but she's an odd story of her own truly.

Everyone makes of SL what they want of it, for me it is a creative outlet of sorts. Where some gather together various people and form a family, I make my own family and my own stories. It works for me, well except for the times when Konoe goes a bit beyond her normal eccentricities and swears she's not one of me. I often have to keep a heavy hand on Rhia who believes everything is some sort of twisted experiment for her amusement and then there's keeping up with Jenica's need to wear ALL THE HAIR! Thank the goddess for Dre who holds it all together for me. Strange that the demoness is the one who is the calm amidst it all.

Best of all there's the rest of the family, you know... the ones actually played by *gasp* other people. Like Naomi who is just somehow part of the family, not sure we've ever truly defined her place, beyond her place as the most awesomesauce bestie ever. Anarya, the quirky adopted sis who is much too unseen lately, also the one responsible for bringing me to SL. As well there's Ivy, the darling granddaughter/nieceling. She holds a special spot in Jen's heart with her everchanging ways, I think both are part chameleon. Tessa who is Dre's partner in all things devious and delightful, all the love right there! The RL hubby steps in as the brilliant other half for the sisters, not often seen in world but he's always right there when I ask and provides many giggles and grins. Egads the giggles! And finally there's Tienn, hubby to that mysterious fourth sister, who provides some amusing giggles, is real easy on the eyes and quite simply is one of those friends who is always a joy to chatter with. Not that I or any of my selves can babble on endlessly, oh no!

If you read all that then you're truly a glutton for punishment. ;)

There was a brief persistent ion train left by a meteor toward dawn. I may try to crop and excerpt that segment, because it washes out in this video.
