Hermione: “He’s probably taking her someplace totes boring, like another museum. It’s a good thing the dude’s one buff baddie with gift givin’ swerve, or else he’d never get laid.”

One of the "haunted" houses decorated for Halloween, located on a very well known road known as Clinton Place in Hackensack NJ. This quaint little street with beautiful Victorian homes decorates their houses & yards every year in October! Not every house does it & the best time to visit this spooky New Jersey find is at night fall.
Charley: “She asked Dane to meet her at the pond on the family’s estate late one night. Apparently, it was their usual meeting spot, and they spent a lot of time there together. She said she had something important to tell him. She sounded nervous, and Dane said she’d been acting oddly for a few weeks prior. He agreed to the meeting, but got held up at some function his father forced him to attend…”
Candy: *squeezes her eyes shut* “Oh-no, oh-no. This is going to be bad.”
Charley: *continues doggedly* “When he finally did arrive, he found Alice floating face down in the pond. Drowned. She was an accomplished swimmer, but since she had a huge gash across her head, everyone assumed she had slipped scaling the rocky precipice surrounding the pond, bashed her head, and fallen unconscious into the water below…”
Candy: *eyes still squeezed shut* “I was right. Bad, bad, bad.”
Charley: “That’s not the worst of it.”
Candy: *eyes pop open, voice soft with dread* “How can it possibly get worse?”
Charley: “She was pregnant.”
Candy: *covers her mouth, eyes wide with dismay*
Charley: “Dane has an older brother, Hamish. It was his baby Alice was carrying. They wouldn’t have known she was pregnant in the first place, but Dane pushed for an autopsy. He didn’t believe Alice’s death was an accident. He suspected foul play.”
Candy: *drops her hand to her lap* “Foul play? Like she was murdered? By whom?”
Charley: “Hamish.”
Candy: *breathes in sharply* “Dane believes his own brother capable of…that? Killing an innocent woman as well as his own child?”
Charley: Dane…*voice falters, clears her throat* Dane thinks Hamish might’ve forced himself on Alice. Thinks that might be what she wanted to tell him that night, but Hamish found out about the meeting and wanted to stop her. To…shut her up.”
Candy: “Good God Almighty.”
**Stifling silence fills the room, as both girls struggle to compose themselves**

My two Nikon F2's. The Chrome with the 50/1.4 AI belonged to my Pop. The black with the 50/1.2 AIS is mine. Both have DE-1 Finders. Both still kick ass and continue to serve me well :D

Met up with some friends that I made last winter/spring.
This is the 2nd "location" that we shot at for their shoot. We shot outside in the next town over (which, my buddy Matt got some awesome BETS footage of). I'll post a shot from there shortly! Look out for the BETS video too! It'll be a good one for sure!
As always, I had a great day with these guys. If you have the chance, be sure to check out their page on myspace, listen to their music. They've been playing a lot of shows and they rock out hard. They definitely put their heart and soul into what they do.

Alan Rickman!!!!!!! plays a Potions mas……… I mean chemistry professor. He fucks a student on a desk and wins the Nobel Prize. (Not for the fucking, you understand.) :D Pretty funny movie, though I didn’t get all the twists. *does not much care*
10-Jan-2013: 2. Istanbul
That feeling when you spend 8 years being pretty sure you’ll never see "Istanbul" unless you stumble on a decayed VHS copy at some garage sale (and is your parents’ VCR dead yet?), which is tragic because even though you don’t know what it’s about, Brad Dourif’s role in it appears delicious, and then you find a nice-qualitied, year-old upload on Youtube. And you make a pretty little mp3 of… *le sigh*… that song… 8)

I’ll watch anything for Brad. :D (Ho hum, except, so far, "Deadwood"… Perhaps because it used to air late at night + most characters talked only about business and local politics + I just suck at following shows. So I’d usually doze off on it. Brad’s char was cool though. :) And ONE DAY I may drag "Deadwood" into my cave and I’ll fast forward through the boring bits and watch all the Brad scenes!!!!! :D /tangent)

I saw the first movie at least a decade before I became a Brad fan… and rewatched it this year. I even remember seeing the cover in the video shop when I was about two apples tall and probably couldn’t read, but my mum informed me of the title. The Swedish title translates to ”The evil doll”. Groovy.

I read the book in 2011. In the movie I noted two seconds of a certain saddening attitude, and two seconds of “On the road” by Jack Kerouac. It was the sort of movie where you expect “On the road” to get mentioned. :B
PS. My diary, high school, day 1: ”… Then I saw a bunch of ghosts [from elementary school] and I thought I heard [the voice of my main bully from previous year]. Well… There I was, walking around the grounds/sitting on benches, alone. It didn’t turn out differently. No sick copy of [my fun British ex-email-buddy] came up and made contact and dragged me into a big fun gang of mad people, and I’ve hardly talked to anybody. Because I always think I’ll to be able to talk like someone in Pulp Fiction but I never can. Now that high school is going to hell socially, my life will too. Job interviews, coworkers … If only I get to work with people here and someone maybe… but what the hell.” I then happened to ally myself with a couple of nerdy chicks, and wasn’t bullied (unlike Movieguy). Funnest subjects were Swedish and English, several teachers liked my writing. In other news, I’ve never attended a real teen party. Maybe for 30 minutes on a school trip, but everyone was just kinda sitting there and at the time I thought there was vodka in my soda but maybe there wasn’t. AND NO LSD ACTUALLY MMMM NOM NOM NOM no I haven’t tried that either.

I took a pic of a PINK can of Cherry Cola a few years ago & it did pretty well on here, so when i saw this cool can, i figured id take another pic. I not only love the flavor of this, but I love the patriotism on it!
Times Square is a major commercial intersection in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. The extended Times Square area, also called the Theatre District, consists of the blocks between Sixth and Eighth Avenues from east to west, and West 40th and West 53rd Streets from south to north, making up the western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan.

Finding Polaris is easy enough for me, even on a relatively bright moonlit night. Finding the actual celestial pole is a little more difficult. The north star is not precisely at the celestial pole.
The Maine state motto is Dirigo, Latin for "I lead". It is a reference to the pole star on the Maine state seal.

Charley: “Nah, it’s not that. Dane told me I could tell whomever I wanted because, and I quote, ‘I’m tired of people thinking I’m a decent enough bloke, when I’m the stuff shite wipes off the bottom of its shoe. I utterly and completely failed the one person who ever gave a damn about me.’”
Candy: *winces* “Wow, that is some seriously harsh self-flagellation there.”
Charley: *pushes up her glasses* “You have no idea. Do you remember Wren talking about Dane’s Alice? She didn’t really give us many details—most likely because she didn’t have any—but she did say that Alice was really important to him?”
Candy: *drawls slowly* “Yeeees.”
Charley: “Well, she’s dead, and Dane holds himself responsible.”
Candy: “Holy crap! Why?”
Charley: *sighs, as she visually steels herself to relay the tale* “Backstory time. Get comfy. Alice was the daughter of their housekeeper. She was almost exactly the same age as Dane, so they grew up together. Dane loved her enormously. He was kind of an awkward kid without a lot of friends, and his family wasn’t particularly affectionate, so Alice was his whole world—friend, family, and confidant.”
Candy (hesitantly): “Was that all? I mean as they got older were they, um…romantic?”
Charley: *shakes head* “No, Dane said the best way he could describe his feelings were that of a brother—a very protective brother. Alice was apparently…different.”
Candy: “How so?”
Charley: “Well, it’s hard for me to speculate because Dane didn’t describe it too clearly. It sounds like she didn’t always engage with the world like you’d expect. She was wickedly smart and funny, but there were times when she couldn’t cope with basic stuff. She’d become overwhelmed and completely withdraw, sometimes for days.”
Candy: “Mild autism, maybe?”
Charley: “That’s what I thought, too, but when I mentioned it to Dane, he got really agitated. Said he didn’t understand why we have to label everything and everyone. Alice was just Alice.”
Candy (unsurprised): “Yeah, Dane doesn’t have much patience for labeling. Says it closes minds off because once you label someone as this or that, that’s all you’ll see in them. So, what happened to Alice?”
