Bambi is a male Red Stag whom has been hand raised & handled since birth. Very friendly, loves you talking to him & being patted and fused over.

This is a rather battered 6x9cm contact print.
On the back of the photo, in what could be AW's hand: "STUDY MADRAS. '46"
I have not yet found anything in AW's army records to show whether he did in fact visit Madras in 1946.
