Great photography requires dedication, time and effort.

But above all there are costs involved as well.

Equipment, props and model fees, not to mention time,

are all "out-of-pocket" expenses for the artist.

If you enjoy my photographic art, you might like to help to support it.

👋Hello everyone!

😔So the holidays have passed, you can even say they flew by!

We met the New Year with our parents – great! We sat up until 5 in the morning!

My wife gave me a smokehouse, they even had time to try the duck – it turned out to be fire!!!

As, probably, many people watched Cheburashka in the cinema (personally, I liked it, and you?)

♀I decided to extend my vacation a little and took another week off!

♟We managed to see friends, play various board games.

And I also reviewed all the parts of the Christmas Trees, because I only saw the first one. But most of all, the 3rd part fell into the soul.

Well, Shaggy Christmas Trees are a cool remake for Home Alone.

How did you spend these holidays? Was it hard to go to work?

💬Write in the comments, I've already missed them very much!

It’s been a year and day since my last model shoot and last studio shoot.

It’s been a year and a day since my employer sent my department home to work from home. We’re still working from home.

More than 535K US American lives have been taken from us, 2.6M worldwide. Cases and deaths are declining and vaccines are on the way.

I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this Friday. I’m looking forward to things improving, but this year has sucked so far. I lost my cat of 15 years 7 February. I lost power for 4 days and water for 2 weeks due to the unprecedented cold and incompetence of state government and state regulators a week later. I’m still recovering from this and now one of my dearest family members is in hospital. The year can get worse. I hope it won’t.

Something new. Worked with Lucy at Lee's Studio this weekend. She was fantastic to work with and loved her collaborative spirit. I shot 60 frames on 120 film that I have to send out for development and scanning.

Part of the work we did was do double exposures on film, something I've never done and I look forward to seeing how (if) they turn out.

Here's a saucy favorite from my first shoot with the truly singular Carlotta Champagne back in 16 September 2017. It was my second glamour shoot ever and I was hooked. I’d always loved glamour and pin up art and this shot, which I’m actually surprised I hadn’t posted online yet, provided proof I could make this kind of art.

I’m taking a break from studio photography due to the pandemic. Hopefully, things will stabilize and we’ll be able to make collaborative art like this once more. I’ll still post, since I have lots of content, but i’m putting my creative energies into my music for the time being.
