This is a rather different photograph from my usual style in that it has a person in it. It is a legal requirement to take an armed guard with you if you go into the Simien Mountains near the Eritrean border. This guard just sat around quietly while we watched wildlife. When he sat with this spectacular backdrop I took his photograph. He then asked me for the T-shirt I was wearing. I asked him if he wanted the shirt off my back but I don't think he understood the joke.
An images taking it's cue from the gangster movies of the 30's and 40's.
My model Sarah-Jane is shot against a neutral grey background and composited into the scene.
All backgrounds are themselves composites of various elements to create a 'hopefully' dramatic theatrical quality.

On Saturday 24th June 2023, Go-Coach was approached to run a shuttle on Armed Forces Day in Ashford from Bank Street to the Army Reserve Centre where 133 Divisional Support Company of the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engeineers were showcasing to members of the public what functions they perform in the British Army.
Coronation liveried 8345 YX66 WFF is pictured here at the gates to the Army Reserve Centre near Repton Park waiting to perform the final trip into Ashford Bank Street.
