It's my godson Bujoy's birthday today! =)
We went shopping for his new shoes and then went to eat crepes after, which he just played with, if didn't threw at his mom haha. Hilarious day with a little kid for a change.
It's so easy to take pictures of him, he listens when I tell him to sit or stand. Haha.
Have an energetic and fun week ahead everyone! :)
All I had time for today was this safety shot I took of myself while waiting for my car to warm up. I promise to get more creative tomorrow!

But so, so different. It's amazing how 3 kids from the same 2 parents can be completely different from each other.

This was apart of a portrait session I forced some of my friends into doing for National Photo Day.

This is a deep forest with mature but homogeneous trees because it is second growth from about the 1920s so they are all the same age. Also it has not had any significant fire shaping so the forest floor is often thick with litter and dead wood.
This was taken at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby British Columbia, Canada. My friend, Fargol, spotted this cottage while we were walking around Deer Lake looking for things to shoot.
This is my favorite photo I took this day. I used The GIMP to adjust the color levels and add the border.
Update: it appears that this little stone house was used in the movie "Are We Done Yet?". It's the little stone house behind the big yellow one. Watch the trailer and see the windows fall out on Ice Cube. oh Ice Cube, thats not how you open a window!
Reports are that the main roads are clear. My neighborhood ... not so much. This guy shoveled for an hour before he could fishtail his car down the street...
My friend agreed to pose for a few pics when I had my camera only for a few days... I think it turned out ok.
Older pic, I know, but I'm not really inspired today so this is it...

Anywho...Had to get the old bubbles out....bubble are always fun....aren't they? Or is it just me??? Ah well ;-)
