Firstly, a thank you to my great friend Alec Hanss for posing. For this shot, we went to an alley near his house and set up on the edge of it. I brought my dad's car because it has bright LED headlights and parked it behind him with the brights on. The headlights covered his legs and torso well, but they didn't really extend high enough to sufficiently light his head, so I set up my tripod, put the camera on a 10-second timer, then ran past him and turned around, shining a flashlight on the back of his head.
We spent a little bit of time playing around with poses. My goal was for the subject to have a confident presence without being intimidating or too relaxed. I think having one hand tucked in helped this feeling (and blocked some lens flare). In editing, I did a small levels adjustment, added some noise, and converted to black-and-white. Overall I'm pleased with this shot. I think it's an interesting setting and captures "the anonymous man" theme well.

These are available for whoever wants them, just let me know and I'll get you some.
Also, I am looking to make another run of stickers and I'm looking for a new hand style for them. I encourage everyone to enter their respective handstyles, just make sure it says "Anonymous Graffiti Magazine". If your selection is chosen you will receive 8 cans of paint and a selection of other graffiti goodies. To enter all you have to do is use a black marker on a white sheet of paper, take a photo of it and submit it to anonymousgraffitimagazine@gmail.com.

At the Anonymous protest, there were no laws broken. These two policemen pulled in some off-duty pay (I hope) telling people to stay out of the parking lot.

Mine is based around the street venues in a city that are still going even though behind them there are big market shops.
I pass these people everyday but do not know them, but they seem to keep the people of the city happy with the service the supply. 'Anonymous'.
Or is he a first among equals? He instructed the gathered crowd on how to act, and stressed that the group was to be peaceful and law-abiding at all times. Before they left the Circle, they practiced sitting down on the ground en mass, which was their plan when or if they were assaulted.

I was finishing boxes of books and I found a dusty book jacket, a kind of sleeve with a zipper and two pockets. I've had this for years, and I had checked inside every pocket, but I never checked inside the flaps. I pulled this picture. Obviously from the late 60's or early 70's because of the outfit, hair and texture of the picture. An anonynous man in a book sleeve.
I'm not sure what the background here was... An ad or shopfront on Burke St, I believe. Totally accidental, but worked out extremely well.
