This picture was took at night in a room with very low general light. There is a second light source very strong and very close to the subject. I tried to put it as close as posible to the subject in order to avoid too harsh shadows but keeping his face reliefs.

I took this picture in manual mode, with the smallest f number (f/2.8), it was very difficult to avoid blur so I asked Anirudh to be very still. I did not want to use flash because I would have lost the potential background details. But we did try to use flash outside with the technique of putting a piece of paper to obtain a nicer light diffusion (with an bigger apparent size of light).
