I started working on animations and music recently. The above sketch is just one small frame out of several hundreds... I made the animation in a minimalist way on purpose, It's meant to be a simple illustration for my music. I created the music and sound effects from A to Z using synths, my new Roland drum kit and Ableton Live.

The sun illuminates the planet now at a lower angle. This means more shadows and therefore significantly less albedo compared to a good two months earlier. The inclination of the rings has also changed.

CERVICAL SPINE ANATOMY INTER-VERTEBRAL DISCS attorney animations
Between the vertebrae are jelly-filled cushions, called intervertebral discs.
Looking at the inside of an intervertebral disc, we can see the fibrous outer annulus which has the consistency of a pencil eraser. The annulus provides the strength. The softer water-filled jelly-like nucleus acts as the shock-absorber. attorney animations.
The whole disc carries 80% of the load through the neck. When you sit, stand up, bend or twist, large compressive forces are applied to your spine. There are several factors that determine the ability of your intervertebral discs to handle these forces:
your inherited make-up
disc health – worsened by smoking, poor nutrition, sedentary lifestyle, weak muscles, and obesity
ageing
poor posture – while sitting, standing and lifting
heavy loads during home, work or sporting activities.
Minor annulus tears can weaken the disc, leading to a herniation of the nucleus.
When the forces applied to your back exceed the strength of your disc, minor injuries to the disc can occur. It is important to note these injuries may or may not hurt at the time. attorney animations.
As the continuous stresses and repeated injuries accumulate, they cause disc dehydration, stiffening and collapse, and increased wear and tear on the spine’s joints and ligaments, and disc tears leading to disc protrusion and compression of adjacent spinal cord or nerve roots.

The Animation Decathlon is a unique interactive arts installation combining cutting edge architectural projections, outdoor video gaming and original sound design in the courtyard of Kensington Town Hall.
The event is the culmination of a year long project working with children and young people across Kensington and Chelsea to create a fantastic series of 2012 - inspired drawings and animations. Click here to find out more about the project
On Saturday 21 March, the animated athletes and crowds they’ve created will be projected metres high onto the Town Hall and surrounding buildings where they will sprint, pole vault and swim across the sides of the buildings transforming the area into an ‘Olympic’ arena.
This is a picture of my students in my animation class, this is my view as I lecture them. Well, they're not tippicly waving as I lecture.
Wesley Back takes a look at the disgusting entities in the "Gross Jar" on display in the cartoon world exhibited in the Salz-Pollak Atrium Gallery.
Trying to find a way to 'debug' isochrones in pgrouting. I wanted to check that the isochrone advanced more quickly down motorways and trunk roads.
The edge of the spreading area is an Isochrone - all the points on this edge are within the same driving time from the start point (George Square in Glasgow). Each frame represents a minute or two's drive time.
This animation was created using QGIS, although it was a bit laborious. I changed the filter settings, and saved each rendering as series of sequentially numbered pngs (001.png, 002.png, and so on). Then used ffmpeg to create a movie.
used osm2pgrouting with the default driving speed configuration. using data copyright OpenStreetMap contributors.
original production animation model cel paintings
gouache on three (3) untrimmed animation cel sheets, image sizes: 10.25" x 9.75", 8.5" x 5.5", 8.75" x 3.25"
These three (3) original hand-painted, and partly hand-inked, animation model cels of the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, and Mombi, the Bad Witch, were created in the Filmation ink-and-paint department during the making of the animated feature. They were produced in development of the characters and for reference use in painting cels.
Preston Blair was the film's associate producer, and these three cels are from his estate. The film story was intended as a sequel to M-G-M's 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz, and Dorothy Gale in Journey was voiced by Liza Minelli, daughter of the original M-G-M Dorothy Judy Garland and director Vincent Minelli.
The three cel paintings are set over colored paper and taped to backing boards. Our certificate of authenticity is included.
There is minor rubbing to the cel surfaces; tape at corners has discolored; blue paper backing to Lion has a tear and piece cut out: overall, FINE condition.
Purchaser will be charged $10.00 for freight and insurance for delivery via Priority Mail within USA; $39.00 for Priority Mail International (insured) for shipment outside of USA; $30.00 Priority Mail International (insured) to Canada. California residents are subject to sales tax. Thank you.
