Textures from kaletaylorphotography and SkeletalMess
Step 1: Open a new layer in SketchBook Mobile and import the base photo (my tulips)
Step 2: Open another new layer on top of the first one, and choose a pencil brush. Trace outlines of the objects. (my lines are shaky - did this on the train)
Step 3: Open a new layer underneath the traced outlines and import a texture photo. Choose a brush and set color to transparent. Erase everything outside the lines of the shape you want to fill. (you could also use an eraser tool but I like the rough edges created by using a textured brush)
Continue in this manner, merging layers as you need to. (the program only allows 6 at a time)
Drawn on the Galaxy Tab, using SketchBook Mobile, the Nomad Brush, and a stylus. I really love the brush - it was a nice gift. I need to spend more time with it - very relaxing.
