Frustrated at lack of good angles to capture this great building. It is in a narrow little lane called Moray Place but it is possible only to capture small parts of it.
St. Vincent Street Church- Glasgow Presbyterian church
Designed by Alexander Thomson (known as "Greek" Thomson) built from 1857 to 1859 for the former United Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
Elements (probably the tower) are by Thomson's young assistant, the church architect Robert Gordon Wilson, a member of the UP church.
Category A listed building and owned by Glasgow City Council currently used the Free Church of Scotland.
1998 listed in World Monuments Watch by the World Monuments Fund, and again in 2004 and 2006. The Fund helped restore the tower, with support from American Express.
