Photo Caption: This photo shows an elderly Mizo tribal lady who was diagnosed with cataract and advised surgery, being counselled at an outreach eye camp organized in partnership between Mission for Vision and Synod Hospital at Lenchim, a remote village in Aizawl district of Mizoram state in India. Mizoram is mostly a mountainous state. Travel is difficult, costly and physically demanding for the elderly. The community eye health project of Mission for Vision is a boon for the remotely located communities.
