I was on a mission of my own to fill the bird feeders when I espied this tiny snail traversing our drive. It was an ideal subject for Week 50 - A nature macro - with the Compositionally Challenged Group. Nothing else to do but to stop work and get the camera.
Active space, for a snail, really!

Found having a kip on a ceiling.
2 inch wingspan.
Adults drink nectar from flowers. Caterpillars eat blackthorn, hawthorn, currant and gooseberry bushes and considered a pest on the latter.
