I was always afraid of making lemon curd, but this recipe is incredibly simple, quick and it always works. Apparently, by mixing all the ingredients together first, like you would for a cake, there's no way it can go lumpy. After I posted some lemon curd cupcakes I got lots of requests for the recipe, so I promised to do a how-to.
Recipe & method by Elinor Klivans
1. Cream the butter & sugar
2. Slowly add the eggs & yolks and beat until smooth
3. Add the lemon juice & zest. This will curdle the mixture, but that's normal
4. Cook the mixture over a low heat. I used a double boiler, but you can put the mixture straight into the saucepan if you want to
5. As the butter melts the mixture becomes smooth. When it's smooth turn the heat up to medium. Stir occasionally and cook for around 15 mins until it thickens
6. The lemon curd is done when it leaves a path on the back of a spoon
The lemon curd will thicken up more as it cools down. You can keep it well covered in the fridge for 1 week, or in the freezer for 2 months... if there's any left!
A 2.4 litre engine is fitted as a replacement for the original 1.8 litre unit.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.

I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Engineers successfully fired a 2-foot-diameter, subscale solid rocket booster June 1, 2022, at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

１ 内省的。 独りで部屋にこもって、壁に向かってぶつぶつ呟く感じ。
２ 詩が素敵。曲調に合わせて、作者の世界観がゆらゆら揺らめく世界観。
３ 奇想天外。作者の前後のアルバムから推測できない驚きが見える。
４ 詩。楽曲。プロデュース。アルバム全体のコンセプトが統一されている。
５ 透明感があると個人的には惹かれる。

There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

The Citroën Traction Avant was an automobile produced by the French manufacturer Citroën and was quite a revolution.
About 760,000 units were manufactured from 1934 to 1957.
The Traction Avant was the first front wheel drive (= ‘traction avant’ in French) car in large scale production. Cord had built front wheel drive vehicles a few years earlier in limited quantities at high prices.
In addition to the 4-door body, the car was also produced as a 2-door coupé with a rumble seat (strapontins), as a convertible (cabriolet, cabrio) and as an extended length model, the ‘Familiale’ with three rows of seats.

"All in all, the world's most outstanding biplane. The aircraft is a 2-seater elementary trainer, used primarily by the RAF, but also in many countries including Denmark, which received 15 Tiger Moths between 1932 - 1937. The Danish Tiger Moths were mainly used at Værløse. During the occupation in April 1940, 12 of them were stored at Avedøre airfield.
The type is from 1931, built until the end of World War II in a quantity of approximately 9,500 examples. The aircraft is constructed with a fuselage of welded steel tubes, wooden wings, and fabric covering.
Most old RAF pilots received their primary training on the Tiger Moth.
The Tiger Moth was primarily built in England, but a large number of aircraft were built under license in Canada, Australia, and several other countries.
Besides being a training aircraft, the Tiger Moth has been used as a crop duster, taxi aircraft, target towing, skywriting, parachute aircraft, and ambulance aircraft.
OY-ECH was restored by the former owner Carsten Ølholm, Malling, who sold the aircraft to Vestas Aircoil, Lem, which for many years loaned it to Denmark's Aircraft Museum. Today the museum owns the machine. The painting is in RAF colors."

Had a day or so after work to head south on the south island of NZ.
Nowhere near enough time, planning a 2 week trip for easter.
Wanted to get a slightly different take of this church, so used the canon 100-400 lens, i know not a landscape lens, but it gave a great dof and i was able to keep the mountains and lake in the shot while filling the frame.
It was sharper than i thought it might be, got some other good results with other shots too.
You really cant do this island justice without a a good zoom lens, some of the views are to die for..
The water in some of these lakes really is Spearmint blue, to do with the glaciers i guess.

I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

La iglesia de Santa María de Eunate es una iglesia románica ubicada en campo libre, a 2 km de Muruzábal, en Navarra, España. Se halla en el lugar donde se juntan los Caminos de Santiago de Somport (aragonés) y de Roncesvalles (navarro), ubicada en el Valle de Ilzarbe (Valdizarbe). Aunque sea habitual señalar que su origen es templario, no existe ningún documento que lo acredite. Su portada románica ha sido estudiada profundamente. Su distribución arquitectónica puede encontrarse en otros lugares de Navarra. Se caracteriza por su claustro exterior.
La iglesia fue construida en románico en la segunda mitad del siglo XII. Primeramente se trató de una ermita mariana de una cofradía local. Como está lejos de un pueblo y se han encontrado vieiras (atributo tradicional de la peregrinación jacobea) en las tumbas que se hallan en la iglesia, se opina que fue un hospicio para los peregrinos.
El conjunto es de planta octogonal imperfecta y está rodeado por una galería porticada de 33 arcos, con capiteles decorados. La armonía de la planta octogonal queda rota por un ábside pentagonal y una torreta de planta cuadrada adosada al lado de la Epístola. En los muros exteriores se alternan ventanas caladas y ciegas y dos puertas de acceso, la del norte ante el Camino, muy decorada, y otra de más sencilla hacia poniente.
La originalidad de la concepción arquitectónica de este templo ha llamado mucho la atención de visitantes y estudiosos. La planta centralizada, aunque conocida, no fue demasiado usual en el Románico hispano; existen ejemplos como la iglesia de San Marcos de Salamanca (circular) o la Vera Cruz en Segovia (dodecagonal), pero sustancialmente diferentes al edificio que nos ocupa, debido a las imperfecciones del de Eunate. La construcción más semejante, cercana además a Santa María de Eunate, es la iglesia del Santo Sepulcro en Torres del Río, también en Navarra. Ambos edificios comparten formas muy similares, aunque en la última falta la galería de arcos de Eunate, a modo de claustro octogonal. La actual situación aislada de este monumento, gracias a que no se ha producido una urbanización en su entorno, invita a la imaginación de los visitantes y ha sido escenario para varios proyectos relacionados con los Templarios.

The Church of Saint Mary of Eunate is a 12th-century Romanesque church located about 2 km south-east of Muruzábal, Navarre, Spain, on the Way of Saint James. Its origins are disputed due to lack of documentation. Its octagonal plan and the fact that it is not located in a present-day village or town but in the countryside contribute to its enigmatic nature. It is a famous site on the French Way path of the Camino de Santiago.
The church is built of dressed stone and its plan is a slightly irregular octagon with a little three-side apse. It presents the typical architectural features of the European Romanesque art (dressed-stone masonry, robust walls, semicircular arches, little windows made of alabaster, etc.) as well as some other local Romanesque characteristics like the chessboard-shape decoration in Navarre and Aragon.
Its eight walls sustain an eight-rib vault, inspired in Cordova's caliphate art. This structure is very similar to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of Torres del Río, Navarre, 55 km far from Eunate and also on the Way of Saint James. The whole building is surrounded by arches that seem to have been partially reconstructed more recent than the original construction of the church. They may have been built centuries later using rests of a hypothetical now disappeared cloister.
The church is a hermitage dedicated to the Virgin Mary and people from all of the Valdizarbe valley celebrate a traditional romería there. This function is the only unquestioned known use of the building as it is the only one that is documented. The early documented reference to Eunate dates from 1487 and refers to a sodality devoted to the Virgin of Eunate. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the building, its location on the Way of Saint James and the comparison with other coetaneous religious buildings demands further explanation about the origin of the church.
Since the late 19th century, there have been several theories about the original function and authorship of Eunate. Due to its octagonal plan, the first theories stated that Eunate was a Templar church, related to other central plan churches like the above mentioned Holy Sepulchre of Torres del Río, and other undoubtedly Templar buildings like the Templar convent of Tomar, the Temple Church of London or the Holy Sepulchre of Pisa; all of them inspired by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. This alleged Templar origin and the aura of mystery that surrounds the church have contributed to esoteric interpretations. While the presence of Knights Templar in this zone of Navarre is not documented, the importance of another military order, the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem or Knights Hospitaller, that could have operated a hospital ('hostel') for pilgrims to Santiago, is well known. Archaeological excavations have found many burials and the typical St. James' shells.

quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

I took this photo from the "River Queen" on the Au Sable River. The River Queen is a authentic Paddle-wheel River Boat, which took us on a 2 hour round trip on the Au Sable River.

A 2 row 8 shot panorama of the Milky Way on the horizon at the Mojave National Preserve.
I've waited 9 months to test out a 15mm f/1.7 prime lens. So far the year has been cloudy, windy, and hazy all year. The first week of June would be the last opportunity for the horizon milky way shot for 2019 before the heat and sunset would limit the horizon shot.
Like most days this year, It was cloudy during the sunset which was a good thing for the sunset landscape shots. But at this location 5300ft elevation, the sky cleared just as twilight was ending, and the milky way appeared on the horizon.
