I love my Nikon D 7500 but like many I have been yearning to try full frame mirrorless. For Christmas Santa brought me the Nikon Z6ii with standard 24-70 kit lens and F to Z adapter. So over the last week since Christmas I have tried it out on many of my favorite photo subjects like macro landscapes sunsets and my pets, and so far I love it. Here are a few of my favorites. most of these pics including the the mushroom closeups were taken with the kit lens.

This weekend I headed home to the Tri-Cities for some much-needed family and friend time, and I got to photograph my most bestest best friend’s son, Jax! We shot at the WSU Tri-Cities campus—urban textures, little pockets of nature, and that dreamy Eastern Washington summer light I love so much. Jax is getting into photography himself and brought such fun ideas to the session.

I’m a Lewis County, WA senior photographer based in Winlock and serving Centralia, Chehalis, Napavine, Toledo, Onalaska, Adna, Vader, and beyond. My style is moody, vintage-inspired—warm highlights, matte blacks, and rich earthy tones—with a focus on genuine moments over stiff posing.

Booking 2026 seniors now. Most schools have yearbook deadlines in early to mid-fall, so now’s the time to grab a date. We can shoot on my private property in Winlock (Olequa Creek, pasture, forest), around Lewis County, or when I’m back in the Tri-Cities. Send me a DM to chat about your vision and get on the calendar.
