4 First West of England buses stand at Wells Bus Station, all ready to head out on their respective routes. Closest the camera, Mendip Xplorer Wrightbus Streetdeck 35160 (SK65PVY) awaits departure towards Street on a 376 service from Bristol, then unbranded Dart/Pointer 42953 (WX06OMK) gets ready to head out towards Yeovil on Route 77, Buses of Somerset Enviro 200 44637 (MX14FUH) stands ready to run on Route 75 towards Bridgwater and finally Wright Eclipse 66725 (WX54XDJ) loads up for a 126 service towards Weston-Super-Mare.

Week in, week out. We try to bring new ideas, mix all of them together, set the exploration date, get together and have fun.
Starting from a simple egg whip, a simple chain, some packs of steel wool, our props have grown so much into varieties of light sources.
Hopefully this new concept of photography will keep on going and never ending.
Photography is, after all, about capturing light.
Lastly, thanks to all who've been doing this together, for all the endless support. Looking forward to the next exploration.
PN Grain Train 7KC6, led by 8152/66/39, approaches a red signal in advance of Town St, Junee, NSW awaiting a cross with Griffith-Sydney Xplorer SP42.
SN65 OMS is a Wright Streetdeck H45/28F new Oct 2015 to First Bristol at Hengrove depot. 10 of the batch of 12 had red fronts and route branding for service 90. 35148 had its red front repainted grey in Aug 2016 to act as a spare bus.
In November 2016 it was repainted again into Mendip Xplorer livery and transferred to First Somerset and Avon to join the 8 similar vehicles new to Wells.
The climb over the Mendips proved too much for the Streetdecks and in late 2019 they were transferred to Bristol and replaced by Enviro 400s. 35148 regained its original livery in November 2019.
With the start of the summer timetable in April 2023 all remaining 65 registered Streetdecks have been transferred to Weston-super-Mare except for 35162 .
Today service 20 is being worked mainly by Steel blue Streetdecks , and service 7 by red fronted examples.
35148 is arriving at the Worle terminus on service 7.
A three car Xplorer from Canberra powers towards Sydney Central.

XP2002 (City of Brisbane) leads the way through the sweeper on the DOWN just north of Goondah Rd and adjacent to the Burley Griffin Way, XP2004 (City of Kempsey) was tailing.
4204 and 42103 shunt at Stockinbingal to pick up 4908 and 4911 to assist with the return Blue Suede Express into Forbes station. 4917 spectates on the action.
Typically this annual train to Parkes uses the main west, however this year it was diverted via the main south as bushfires had closed the west. Trains with passengers onboard are rare visitors on this line. Although over the coming months, the Broken Hill Xplorer would transverse this route in service.

First West of England - Mendip Xplorer - Wrightbus Streetdeck 35160 (SK65PVY) pulls out of Wells Bus Station working a Route 376 trip from Bristol to Street, while another Mendip Xplorer Wrightbus Streetdeck, 35164 (SK65PWJ) pulls in from the depot after having its ticket machine checked part-way through its run from Street to Bristol.
NP23 down Xplorer to Werris Creek and beyond passing through the locality of Belford on 28th Dec 2016. At Werris Creek the train will split into two sections with the three leading cars continuing to Armidale and the last pair to Moree.
8155 leads two 82 class through Joppa Junction after waiting for a northbound Xplorer to depart Goulburn

On a humid overcast day at Goulburn, on the Northern end of the Southern Highlands in New South Wales, Pacific National's NR20/ NR97 sit at the head of 3PW4, Perth To Port Kembla Steel train as the up Canberra to Sydney Explorer service passes by on the up running via the down main having come off the Canberra Branch at Joppa Junction and has run wrong road from Joppa to Goulburn and returning to the up main at the country end of the up platform. This move came about as 3PW4 was divided into 2 separate trains at Goulburn for the run down the Illawarra mountain to Port Kembla as the Illawarra line was shut for trackwork. NR47 is at the head of the 2nd train 2920 sitting at the up home signal behind PW4.

SN12 AEK is an Alexander Dennis E40D Enviro 400 H45/28F new to First Devon and Cornwall in March 2012. All nine of these were transferred to First Bristol at Hengrove around the end of 2016 and painted with orange fronts on urban livery for service 50. With the timetable changes at the beginning of September 2017 33666 and 33667 were transferred to Weston-super-Mare , and repainted in Excel livery for North Somerset X services.
Service X5 from Weston-super-Mare to Cribbs Causeway was handed over to Stagecoach West from 1st September 2019 and 33666/7 were transferred from Weston to Wells.
33667 is now in Mendip Xplorer livery and is working on Wells service 172 in Paulton.
First West of England (First Bath) Enviro 400 33665 (SN12 AEG), wearing the Mendip Xplorer livery, is seen at Locking Road, Weston-super-Mare, prior to working a route 126 to Wells.

Having taken over Queens Road depot, Go North West has taken over a large sum of Volvo B9TLs and B7RLEs, as well as a small number of E400s, Streetlites and Volvo B5LHs. 37440 appears to sport a strange section of First Express / Mendip Xplorer livery above the upper windows, though never carried that livery from research !
