Every week we come home and dump all of our groceries on the table before we put them away. This week, most of it went in the fridge side of things
Using the pattern "Sankegg" took a bit to get comfortable with. I had trouble getting the shape to interact right but think that the final picture for today turned out quite ok especially considering that I havent tangled for quite some time. Thanks to the Diva!
Deciding what to take a picture of (the one above)? Check. Finding the Dogwood leaf and ant? Simple. Getting the ant stay on the leaf while focusing with 25mm of extension tube? That took a bit longer. Once I finally got her on the leaf though, she was surprisingly cooperative, even staying still for several shots while being lit from underneath by a bright LED Maglite. Would make a nice desktop background, hmm?
No animals were harmed in the making of this photo. The ant was safely returned to her dirt pile out behind the tool shed.

Senatorial candidate Dick Gordon stresses a point on the need of voter's receipts during a weekly forum in Manila on Monday March 14 while lawyer Romeo Macalintal listens. Gordon said that the election agency is creating a doomsday scenario for insisting that election may be held on June 9 instead of May 9 due to the Supreme Court ruling over the issuance of voter's receipts.
