This is the weekly foldout. Haven't done anything useful with the inner portion of the page, though I suppose I could have stuck phone numbers or something on there.
Slottsgatan må vara en härlig våning, men det är svårt att matcha den utsikt och frihetskänsla som deras nya våning bjuder på. Wow.
This is one of the goodies I bought at craft/vintage market last week, it's made by Charlie & James. I had a great day.
Active Assignment Weekly: June 6-13: Nature's Geometric Shapes
Being an engineer, it has always fascinated me how nature can construct geometric shapes (circles, triangles, pentagons, hexagons... and on and on) so perfectly. We mortal beings must use rulers, compasses, and straight edges to create such things.
For the assignment, photograph a geometric shape created by nature.
There used to be dew on the spider's web, before I got up this morning. So I simply replaced it with a spray mist of water. SOOC. I don't have close up or macro lenses, so this is a close as I could get.

Made one of those cardboard light tents. Used white chart paper behind & a bedsheet to cover the box. Two lamps on either side of box shining thru the sheet. Did have to use curves layer in PS to whiten more.
Its not as sharp as I would like but I ran out of time as usual.
Weekly market at Laomeng town where are a lot of tribals like Miao, Hani, Yi, Yao, Lahu, ... people.

Taken for "Active Weekly Assignment - Wish"
My Wish for the coming year and for times beyond are as impossible as world peace and as inconceivable as a "free" lunch.
I wish for a return to simpler times when the almighty dollar is not the end all, a time where comedy is funny because it's funny not outrageous, where a stranger is someone you haven't met yet, not someone you distrust and fear. Happiness doesn't have a $ sign in it. (sorry ,but there was only one Will Rogers). I just wish that the world were not so driven by he almighty dollar. It's hurting us as the guardians of this wonderful planet we call home and is destroying all that we share it with. I wish for the impossible, a return to simpler times.
WIT: Post camera, added the border in Corel and smeared it a bit on the bottom...
I am wishing for this AAW challenge to be a bit of a twist on the predictable (and cliche) New Year's Resolution theme.
WISH: What is a personal and significant wish you have for the coming year? This might be a bit more optimistic than a self-improvement-type resolution. For instance, some of us may wish for world peace; some for a new Mercedes; some to lose (or gain) 10 pounds. (I guess that would be a wish if one has no intention of dieting!)
