I'm kind of thinking my "wild" photos for this week will lean towards wildflowers .... albeit, I know I will not know the actual names of those wildflowers!!
These beautiful little pink flowers are growing "wild" around the golf course!

Active Assignment Weekly (Dec. 27) - Reminds me of a song
This was a great task, I was thinking about potential songs the whole week. I couldn't really find one were I had a good idea that was also practically doable though, so this is a somewhat quick-and-dirty fallback idea, referring to Iron Maiden's Two Minutes to Midnight (youtu.be/9qbRHY1l0vc).
For the background, I used a TV with some random fireplace video from YouTube. In post processing cropped, reduced saturation and added vignetting and artificial grain as it otherwise felt a bit too "clean".

Luke 18:6 NIV " No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so those who come in can see the light."----------------------------------------------------- It is the spring season, and I see lots of wildflowers growing along the roadsides. I see a lot of dandelion flowers and dandelion seed heads all over yards and fields as I drive around. When I think about those seed heads, I think about how they were created to be spread by the wind in order to grow more and more flowers in neighboring areas... I think our faith should be the same way- Readily spread to our neighbors in order to grow more and more. [ Romans 10:17] " Consequently, Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ."------ If every believer just kept the " Good News" to themselves and never shared it with others; it would never have the chance to grow... I am sure that you know an un-believer at work, school, the building you live in, or social media groups. You may be the only exposure that those persons have to the word of God. And much like the dandelion; some will see you as a nuisance, while others will see the good. [ I Peter 3:15] " but in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."---------- No person will respond positively by being beat over the head with the Bible.. Sharing the Gospel is not about telling people what they need to do, But sharing the Gospel is about declaring what Jesus has already done. The message is clear and simple; Jesus died for our sins, He was buried in a tomb, and He rose from that tomb on the third day. { I Corinthians 15:3-4}.... Our daily lives should be the example of Godliness in us. Our words, actions, and reactions should set us apart from the crowd, and then, when someone ask why we seem to be different; we get to spread our faith like the dandelion seed in the breeze. Share your stories of how God works in your life, Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Active Assignment Weekly: "Starts with a B"
Went for a walk after the rain today. Came upon this church I frequently see from the freeway. Found this bike in front of one of the doors to the church. The lights are reflecting from another room at the church. Upped the exposure a bit in pp.

East coast Harvesters
Once again we headed east , Cod fishing has been great that way lately so we headed there for another bash . Six strong paddlers and we headed right out there from the sandy beach . Weather was good again and a little chop on the water .Soft lure fishing for me and a bit of fly fishing too for mackerel .The day started well ,you have to be right out there to be successful , the mile mark .Lots of small coddling , 3lb max 4 lb taking the soft lure . I love this type of fishing on the kayak , bouncing the little lure just above the bottom and teasing those fish out . and then Something drastic happened ,In the corner of my eye ,around 50 yards out my friend steve was playing something big ,3 minutes or so later the whole thing overturned ,the man lost his balance and turned straight over . I race to him , and rally all the other kayakers . Steve was having a big of trouble turning back his yak over ,a big 15 ft . I help him out the best I could and he struggled back in , just to over turn again . On the day my friend never bothered about his dry suit , just wearing his kayak jacket . Also to make matter worse he tied his waterproof trousers to the bottom . When he capsized , he got a right good shock in his system finding the water really cold ,his trousers filled with water too. His life vest was stuffed with many tools making him so heavy he really struggle back on top .The cost of his misfortune was a rod and reel , some lures but could have been much worse . We help him back to the shore and had something to eat . Second half we paddle right out again , looking for more fish .I needed some bait for my future trips and had a bash at the mackerel .Was not long to fill up my bag around 30 king size mack just like that . We had a great day once again and stop on the way back to that famous chippie .Going out in a group saved my friend some bother .Plenty bait and a nice cod for our tea..Nicolas
Active Weekly Assignment (Mar. 1-8, 2021) - "There is a number in my photo"
For this assignment, I wanted to find some numbers outside rather then arranging something at home. My girlfriend had the idea that the single spaces in parking decks are often numbered, so I made a tour through the different parking decks in my town (turns out only half of them actually have numbers).
There are only two numbers but at least they consist of six digits, I hope that counts :).
Post-processing: Apart from cropping and the obvious conversion to b&w I adjusted the brightness, mostly by playing around with the "filmic rgb" and "tone equalizer" modules of Darktable which I learned about just recently and are trying to master now.

Active Assignment Weekly: Jan 18-25 "Details"
Rumpleteazer is one of the most beautiful cats I have ever seen. He has just as much spunk as when my mom saved him from the side of the road many years ago.
There is a color version of this in my photostream as well, but I thought the b&w highlighted the details a little more effectively for the AAW.
"And when you heard a dining room smash
Or up from the pantry there came a loud crash
Or down from the library came a loud ping
From a vase which was commonly said to be Ming
Then the family would say: "Now which was which cat?
It was Mungojerrie! And Rumpleteazer!"
And there's nothing at all to be done about that!”

Kitty: Não... O.o

As for what is wrong
Apart fro skillfully having captured the tilt of the earth;) This is Interstate 40, featuring one of the busier portions of one of the busiest Interstates in the USA. But today its empty. Both lanes were closed due to flooding of the White River (near Brinkley, Arkansas) , which covered both lanes sometime on May 5th.
I couldn't walk past this one could I?
