When I was young, the most impressing structure for me was the bridge. Every time my dad would drive on this monster, I would be scared but excited by his height at the same time!
Today, I took a picture of this bridge to show you a different perspective. I'm really satisfied with the result.

The theme for week #34 is Glass.
This is the Temperate Glasshouse in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Gardens it was built in 1858. It has been refurbished a couple of times the most recent in 2004-5. It was built by Robert Matheson. The stonework is 50ft high and the glass domes add another 22ft which allows room for some rather tall plants, mainly palms.

As Laurie's image was neon lights, I thought I would shoot the opposite - natural light at sunset.

Had a day out to Brighton and I was hoping to find an open sign on the beach, but nope, I didn't!
So this is an open beach, open brollies, open pier structure and open deck chairs :))
The hay fields have been partly baled and remain in the fields until the farmer will need them!

ODC: Steampunk
This week i had another idea in mind but due to weather conditions it never happened, so I needed a backup plan. I decided to try something a bit different this week and went back to the more creative shots.
This photo is created using 3 glasses and a colourful background plus an ambient desk lamp.
This was a bit of a challenge for me to begin with as I just couldn't quite get the focus right and it was the first time that I had to ramp the aperture all the way up to f/32.
