Preserved LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No.48773 and Longmoor Military Railway-livered WD Austerity 2-10-0 No.600 'Gordon' rub shoulders at the Engine House museum, Highley, on 16th June 2018. Both locomotives were initially built for the War Department and saw service on the now-defunct LMR at different times during their operational careers.

A few days after this photo was taken, No.48773 was moved out of the museum to undergo cosmetic restoration to its initial condition as WD No.307, in time for the Severn Valley Railway's 'Step Back to the 1940's' events.
