Built in 1945 for the War Department, this Drewry / Vulcan Foundry built 0-4-0DM worked for the MoD until 2006, when it went into an honourable retirement. This view of it was taken in May 2010 when it was a resident at the Elsecar Steam Railway. Since then, it has moved on, initially to the Derwent Valley Light Railway. By September 2013, the loco was at Peak Rail's Rowsley South site.

Halifax Station
This is the first photograph I ever took of the railway scene - an unidentified WD 2-8-0 at Halifax Station. I didn't know at the time that very little traffic went through Halifax - mostly Calder Valley dmu's on trans-Pennine services. Over an hour at the station revealed this and one tank engine.
Soon realised the CV mainline was only 3 miles to the south - which was very busy with freights - mostly WD, 8F and Black 5s
WD 90628, a Thornton Junction engine, trundles through Perth Station with a mineral train. The once ubiquitous coal wagons dominate this photo.
An 18 yo car wash machine working very well. Originally installed in 1997 with red and black spiral PE brushes, dryers and snow foam application but unfortunately the dryers were removed and the snow foam application doesn't work anymore. This machine has a display with pictograms on the back and 2 traffic lights, both don't work anymore
