The last permanent-mounted VMS in New York State is announcing the planned demolition of the old Tappan Zee Bridge will not occur as scheduled on Saturday 1/12. A few miles before this, to the south, a CT-issued VMS announced travel times "TO US 7".

The Vicenza Middle School held a “Trashion Show” at the VES-VMS multipurpose room to celebrate Earth Week Apr. 18.
Participants created clothing from recycled materials and four students won in different categories. Other Earth Week activities included tours of the Eco Center, information booths and a book give away at the Library.

Books from my parents basement: I got this around 1992/1993 when first tinkering with VMS. The book is actually humorous in parts and as such a relatively easy read given the subject matter. Note that ownership does not imply I actually understand VMS internals!
This also marks the start of my move from electronic engineering and communications to computing and computer networks.

An Eagle Court of Honor was held at the Villaggio Multipurpose Room Oct. 29 to recognize Anuk Dayaprema’s achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout.
As a member of the Vicenza Boy Scout Troop 295, and while still an eighth-grader Dayaprema worked on a unique Eagle Scout project focused on collecting and distributing an assortment of school and college textbooks to benefit a specific district in Sri Lanka.
