I saw a sign on the way into Kananaskis Country that said something about "tagging a tree" to help cut back on deforestation. Then I saw this little thing tied to one of the trees overlooking Elbow Falls. It's a nice thought, but I wonder if this group knows about the tree-planting that has been going on in Kananaskis Country for as many years as I can remember...

As a community demonstration forest, this land was maintained to support the local community, and serve as an example of what local forests have to offer when properly cared for.
