Photoshop was definitely my friend when editing this image. No other way to do it when a coach load of tourists descend on the place, thanks to the infamy of Game of Thrones.

The Meereen Throne Room, introduced in the fourth season of "Game of Thrones," features a grand hall with a prominent throne situated atop a set of imposing stairs. Daenerys Targaryen ascended to this seat of power after capturing the city. The room's authoritative atmosphere underscored her resolve to reform Meereen. Here, she presided over court sessions, making crucial decisions, particularly regarding the freed residents of the city.
Project is my entry in the Stairway Tales category at the Summer Joust 2024 contest.
just started to watch the referred to cultural phenomenon. addictive and completely emotionally manipulative. no offense to royalists, but i don't get bloodlines.
The Throne Room of the Black Falcon faction. Don't know about anyone else, but I was thrilled to see them re-emerge (or at least see an homage to them) in the newer Kingdoms Joust set (10223).
What can I say... eilonwy77's tile-work is inspiring :)

The mountain in the centre of this image is known as King's Throne. Situated right above Kathleen Lake (not visible in this image), it is a spectacular sight.
Photo taken with the Canon EOS R and RF 24-105mm f/4.0 L hand held. The finished photo was processed from raw in Adobe Lightroom.
This is probably an old saying that you don't know in each country. But this new element has inspired me.
Looking across Kathleen Lake towards King's Throne. It is a truly majestic site.
This photo is a 3-exposure tone mapped image. All of the original photos were taken with the Canon EOS R and adapted EF17-40mm f/4.0 L. I used a very sturdy tripod and ballhead combination to suport the camera as well as a circular polarizing filter and an ND1000 to lengthen the exposures in the bright daytime light.
My entry to the Big Bionicastle Contest!
I have very very few Bionicle parts, which made it quite a challenge (the mask at the top was even borrowed from my brother). I think it turned out pretty well though! Besides the mask at the top, I made the floor out of mixel ball-joints, and the back and arms of the chair are Bionicle pieces I think.
To God be the glory!
In 1400 Edward the Longshanks visited Scotland and stayed at Dalhousie Castle on his way to Falkirk to meet with Sir William Wallace (Braveheart).
He took with him this throne which today remains at Dalhousie Castle.

A free build for Guilds of Historica. I had some trouble figuring out the floor design for this build until I saw the epic sail on kabel's ship. Then I just tried to copy the bear paw design for the floor.
Glorfindel and Wyndor have returned to Valholl after visiting many of the towns and cities in Mitgardia. They immediately go to the throne room to report to Elon Chorian and Steen Larrson. Many nobles and officers are in the throne room discussing the current tension between Avalonia and Mitgardia.

Real kings and queens are people whose heads are crowned with dreams as they sit on the throne of passion. They rule with visions in the regalia of inspirations!
This is the Alien Throne with some of the surrounding rock formations.
Thanks for looking and hope everyone has a great week.
It was an easy hike to this place but a difficult drive to reach the trailhead. I almost gave up at one point just driving few feet on a jeep road as suggested by my pre-downloaded GPS track. But a ray of hope led to me this place via another turn. It was also a dirt track but much better than the previous one I attempted.
Still, daylight was there by the time I reached the trailhead and that made me super confident that I can finally see one of the most delicate and precious formations of Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah, The Alien Throne.
After an hour of a hike through a near-flat terrain, I reached the spot with so much of excitement. It was nothing less than what I imagined. I was stunned looking at nature's engineering skills and execution.
This time, I had the whole place to myself and enjoyed shooting till Sun went below the horizon. I felt as if I were wearing a Throne that whole time.
So, this a better look at the whole build used in the last part. It's 22 studs wide and 36 studs long. In these shots you can see all the shapes and features. If anyone read the original version on Mocpages, you can see I've made quite a few changes. The original version can be seen here and here
On the right, is the throne and platform (?) itself. The lamp looking things are...well...lamp style things. Okay, i'm not really sure what they are but they look cool. The pillars are also pretty cool and help to frame (?) the window. Yeah, not sure about calling it a window. It's just not very window-y.
The middle shot shows the build in its full 36 stud long glory. Not gonna lie, it looks a lot bigger in photo's than it does in real life. Now, the main change I made was the colour of the carpeted passage way, Originally, it was dark red, y'know, like Supes' cape. However, when it came time for the rebuild, I had nowhere near enough dark red pieces, so I made the switch to dark blue, which, I have to say, looks a lot better.
Now, onto the final shot, the entrance wall (really gotta work on my naming of things). Now, what you probably didn't see in the actual post was the full wall. The two statues are supposed to represent Jor-El and Lara, Supermans Kryptonian parents. And above them is the planet of Krypton itself, which I am pretty damn proud of, as its a pretty decent half-sphere shape. I'm also quite proud of the upside down building technique I used for the bits on the side. Even if they're not entirely stable and propel themselves out of the wall if the build is jogged slightly, or moved at the wrong angle. Ideally, instead of these pieces, I would have just had the banner I used for Supermans bio, but I'm not big on customising bricks so I decided against it.
So, that's the whole thing. Might do more of these for other builds, like Aquamans throne room, or Batmans temporary batcave. Let me know if anyone's interested in seeing those :D
The lower stage spins. Through the disintegrating walls we see lights spinning. Lacking space to achieve the later via mechanics I employed a LifeLites Elite flasher unit.
Out for a walk today and looks like someone dumped this chair. Was a welcome rest for Bella and a good photo op.
Fit for a king, or queen
The "throne " seat on the Aer Lingus A321LR.
Up front in business class, there's a further upgrade with the 16 business class seating arrangement. With alternating rows of ones and twos, row 3 & 5 feature a single seat either side of the aisle, known as the throne seat, you can rest your weary arms either side of the lie flat seat, with buckets of storage space.
Feel like a king or queen.
