This is from Olympic National Park's wild coastline. It was a grey day, but incredible texture in the stormy clouds, so I choose a B&W rendition for this seascape.

After Prince Siddhartha renounced his throne, he wandered this same countryside as an ascetic before becoming enlightened. He underwent prolonged fasting and almost starved himself to death before finally accepting milk porridge from a village girl named Sujata. Just down the road.
After accepting the milk porridge and regain his strength, Prince Siddhartha settle down under the Bodhi Tree (Where the MahaBodhi Temple is in the background.) After a reputed 49 days of meditation, at the age of 35, he attained Enlightenment.
