Tioga is learning to nudge me when I am overwhelmed, though she does this pretty automatically.
Tioga is learning to respond and sense levels of depression. She can lay on my feet, put head on lap, and give hugs on command.
She provides sensory grounding when I go into sensory overload by simply licking me or my petting her.
Putting her in her crate and taking her out reminds me to take my meds.
She is social and gets me to talk to people out in the world and my own family. Even if through just Canines for Christ if she loses her vision she is still helping ME with my profound social anxiety. Wow! Talk about blessing, it's win a win situation because I'm out of the house The Lord has indeed blessed me! I feel so honored to have such a gift it moves me to tears.
She also is a great distraction in waiting rooms which for reasons beyond me trigger panic attacks.
First time shooting field sports at night! My borrowed Nikon D750 was up to the task, but unsurprisingly, my Sigma 150-600mm had plenty of range but nowhere near enough speed, and I had to try to crank the ISO to levels I'm generally quite uncomfortable with to try to get even a passable shutter speed. With that being said, the full frame handled that a heck of a lot better than my humble D750.
U.S. Army Col. Mark Johnson presented achievement awards and Combat Action Badges to Soldiers with Task Force Marauder May 28, 2018, to recognize their achievements while deployed. Task Force Marauder consists of Soldiers from South Carolina National Guard, Illinois National Guard, Iowa National Guard, as well as active duty component and provides aviation capabilities with AH64 Apaches, UH60 Black Hawks, CH47 Chinooks, and medevac assets in Afghanistan under the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade while deployed. But work at home has its rewards. I am looking at what needs to be done to get outside where it is really fun. Evening hours allow time for small jobs.
Major Sir Tasker Watkins received the Victoria cross in the 2nd world war when all the officers in his group were killed led a bayonet charge against 50 armed enemy and then single handedly took out a machine gun post to ensure the safety of his unit. Sadly he was to pass away about a year after I took this photograph.

Our visit to the Hunger Task Force Farm. It's in Franklin, WI. The farm is 150 acres and provides an annual 300,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables free-of-charge to people in Milwaukee, WI.
