This was our first sight of the trees that are twined over the masonry throughout the complex.

At this point it felt as if we were free to wander, though in fact the route was clearly maintained in one direction only.

It felt slightly worrying to walk through the remaining corridors ...

This temple was used in the film "Tomb Raider".

When I walk through this temple, I felt like I'm Lara Croft. :P But seriously, I got to climb on pretty much everything. Rubble were everywhere. It was quite an experience.

... and quite huge tourists!

It was hard to get a photo of some dramatic trees because of all the people wanting photos of themselves. Then a pal took one of me - I'll post it later!

Collapsed doorway in the ruins of Ta Promh Temple, Cambodia.

 

All the doors and walls seemed to stand at an odd angle after being at the mercy of the jungle for such a long time, picture straightening is futile.

Despite appearances, there was work going on to preserve Ta Promh in just this state.
