Photographs taken in Times Square, Manhattan, New York taken between the 24th August 2012 and the 5th September 2012
They've installed a set of big steps above the ticket booth for people to get a view of the Square... I was asked a few times to take other peoples pictures!
Relationships can be fun and happy at times. Other times, they can be strenuous and difficult. Regardless of the stability of the relationship, it has to be based on communication. This couple’s stool is meant for two people to sit on either end and balance on the fulcrum. To remain on the stool, each person must not only balance themselves, they must talk to one another so that both people are comfortable. If there is no communication and no cooperation, then both people will slide off of the stool.

The light from Times Square is simply unreal. White light washes up from the street.

Benwood Wall Wreck French Reef Sunny Snorkeling Scuba Fun Times. Captain Dave, Dive guide Glenn, snorkel guides Holly and David showed the guests a great time at these Key Largo sites this morning. North winds caused more topside waves today, but everyone handled it very well. Water temperature is holding nice and steady at 77 F. Shallow wreck diving and snorkeling Key Largo was just awesome this morning.

That's Marco and no, it's not a Nazi salute. He was waving. Paul is at the Mac, Andrea is obscured by the editor, whose name I forget.
I decided to revisit some slides from 20-ish years ago. Some of these pictures are elsewhere in my Flickr photostream, albeit with lower quality scans, while others have never previously seen the light of day.
I had been in New York for two days when I was lucky enough to be taken on an evening open-top bus ride from Brooklyn and into Manhattan.
This was my first glimpse of Times Square and my jaw just dropped. It was completely surreal to be there, and so over the top that it was almost cool.

I have been to LA three times and on the first two occasions I saw this car, and I have met the driver all three times. (I'm a Matrix fan, so the licence plate stood out.)
Bizarre!
(I would have seen the car the third time, but the guy who owns it explained it was being repaired after a "mishap".)
