Soho Streets London Posh upmarket expensive Chinese Restaurants and Bubble Tea Shops are spilling over from Chinatown into Soho - A sign of the times!
Shot at night using available light with the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D. This is Hong Kong's busy Times Square shopping mall in Causeway Bay.
life is like a box of chocolates. a cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. so you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. sure, once in a while there's a Peanut Butter Cup or an English Toffee. but they're gone too fast and the taste is... fleeting. so you end up with nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts. and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you got left is an empty box... filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Shot at a place called Times Square in a city called New York. You may have heard of it before somewhere.. :p It´s shot with the best digital pocket I have ever tried, the now quite old FujiFilm F31! Of course there are small cameras today that have more pixels and are more light sensitive. But there was something about the pictures shot with that camera that I loved.
One piece of the six life-sized figures that make up Antony Gormley's recent work, 6 Times, on display in Edinburgh. This particular one is located at the entrance to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

My boss, Claire had me for the second year in a row in our company grab bag. She got me what is, in my estimation, the perfect $20 gift. A PINHOLE CAMERA that I got to build myself! I still have to learn how to use the thing properly.... but look how fun...

this was taken from the top of a bus using a bean pod but it was still hard to get a steady shot owing to fat tourists walking up the steps. 5 frames at different exposures comined to one image using photomatix
