Met him on the roof of Shurovi-7 Launch. He was holding his shirt in the wind and acting like he is a superman. He sell water bottle in launch to earn money and support his family. Last year (2013) he and his family managed to survive from a tragic launch accident. Many people died at that accident. His name is Billal, 11 year old and he read in class two. And yes, he is a superman and we had our lunch together at a restaurant near Barisal launch terminal.
I decided since I went to see Man of Steel today I would take a photograph of the only Superman I happen to own. ;P Perhaps I need to work on my DC stuff.
I had mixed feelings about the film, but all in all it was a good movie...

I've been wanting to do this for a while since I got both the telephone booth and the Superman/Clark Kent fig. Once I got the broken glasses head, I knew it was time. Threw in some new versions of Superman villains and here we are! Really happy with how this came out.
Top, left to right:
Granny Goodness (new Ursula hair but lots of other new parts too) and Silver Banshee (new BAM hair / Taskmaster head)
Bottom, left to right:
Parasite (new Scooby Doo head), Superman (new HP head / Clark Kent torso), and Manchester Black (new hair / Jurassic World head)
Oh boy did I score big time with this epic sunrise at the Superman Barn in Breeza in NSW this week. No filter was used and the colours have not been touched in photoshop. This barn was built specifically for the "Superman Returns" movie in 2006.

A moc I built in celebration of Man of Steel 2 being confirmed with Batman! Obviously this is inspired by the amazing film Man of Steel. This is my first Superman moc and I also wanted the try out the crashed effect of Superman in the road :)

Old school Ben Cooper vintage Superman costume, remade for adults.
Ben Cooper, Inc. was a privately held American corporation which primarily manufactured Halloween costumes from the late 1930s to the late 1980s. It was one of the three largest Halloween costume manufacturers in the U.S. from the 1950s through the mid-1980s. The company's inexpensive plastic masks and vinyl smocks were an iconic American symbol of Halloween from the 1950s to the 1970s, for which Cooper has been called the "Halston of Halloween" and the "High Priest" of Halloween.
I had to put these two together and showcase some of the differences! The MOS figure is a bit taller and has a more athletic build! The BVS figure has wider lats and beefier shoulders and thighs! I plan to do some customizing on the BVS figure once the spare one I purchased arrives! The head sculpts are both excellent like most head sculpts from Hot Toys but also very different!

Another in our series of British icons (and Hollywood icons today since James is Superman, minus the cape, but wearing his PJ top!). We shot this before the mad rush to get to hospital this morning, only to discover my oncologist had lost my script, so have been sent home and am waiting for someone, somewhere, to ring me to tell me where to collect my chemo.
