♪ Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Just a "little" something to wish All my Flickr Friends A Happy & Safe Holiday..................!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your thoughtful comments, support and visits this past year and I hope "2011" will bring us all a year filled with good health, happiness, peace and joy.........♥
Looking forward to seeing all your new images..............:)
Best wishes,
Tom
I have now been on flickr for one year!!!!
So here are my 366 photos of 2008 (it was a leap year!)
I decided at the beginning of 2008 that I would take a photo a day.
So I bought myself my wonderful Canon Elph SD 750. I can carry it in my pocket.
I like to find my photos within my reach, on my walks in the morning or where ever I may be. I do not go out of my way or go special places to take my photos. They are what I see, everyday. The gifts of the day.
I Thank all of my FLICKR FRIENDS! For your comments and support and most importantly your wonderful photos and inspiration.
THANKS FOR A GREAT & FUN YEAR!
One more image from my visit to Trillium Lake yesterday......:)

Hope you all enjoy it.......♥
Happy Sunday Everyone........!

Morning light catches my green glass jars, and casts the most gorgeous green reflections. I see them, but then the race is on. Between me and Mother Nature.
It's become a game between the sun and me, to see who can move the quickest. Me, to get my camera, and set it up, or that cunning sun, who can steal back its wonderful light in seconds.
I WIN! Today.
Blessings,
Sheree
I've been trying to shoot this pear orchard for some time now and when I got off work yesterday and noticed the skies were clearing out I thought I better take advantage of the small window of opportunity that I've got so I packed up the gear and hit the road to see if there were any keepers to be found........
A special thanks to my friends Gary & Carol for inspiring me with their resent comps..........Even though I missed the full bloom I didn't miss the PoV from this amazing "little" piece of heaven...........:)
Hope everyone is having a wonderful week................!

I thought I better post a flower today before they all wilt in this 90+ degree
weather..........lol
Interestingly enough the Gazania flower opens up during the heat of the day & sunlight and closes up almost completely when it gets cool in the evening and when it gets dark..........!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful sunny Wednesday........:)

Thanks Sunshadows, for the title!

European Rabbit / oryctolagus cuniculus. Dunwich, Suffolk. 04/04/23.
'ON FULL ALERT.'
The Rabbit had obviously heard something it wasn't sure about. It immediately sat up on its haunches to gain a better view of the surroundings. Eyes, nose and ears all worked together to gather information. Reassured there was no threat, the rabbit continued to graze.

On my hike this morning I got a little rock inside my boot. After about 20 minutes of it digging at my heel I decided to sit down and get it out. Upon sitting on the frosty, wet ground, I realized I had a beautiful view.
The sunset photo is mine. The window is a textured background which is not mine. I blended the sunset into the background and did some editing on the window and wall.

....for my flickr friend, Sunshadows... a very good friend and photographer...thank you for your constant appreciation and for sharing your artful outlook of nature and life...
Out on a birdwalk with a small group, a Red Fox was spotted. He looked for a little bit, and stopped for one last look back. Most critters seem to just check and make sure the humans are just watching.
True creatures of the light are never afraid to stand within its blaze.

A charming house in my Mom's neighbourhood on a bright & sunny afternoon. As you can see the hills of snow have melted, but there's still some on the grass!

Over the last few months I've been trying to improve my landscape photography skills.......And boy did they need a lot of work.........lol
But, since this is my 199th post here on Flick I thought it was fitting to go back to what brought me here nearly two years ago........:)

Well not quite A Perfect Purple Saturday shot more like a "Perfect Pink Saturday" but who's counting........I'm just glad it's the weekend......:)
Last week I returned to work after my 2 week holiday vacation and I must admit I miss that extra hour or two of sleep, going out shooting whenever I wanted to, editing images without a care in the world how late it was, etc........And I have some catching up to do on everyone's photostreams too so I better get busy.......♥
Wishing all my friends a wonderful weekend......!

At the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, there is a "Crepe Myrtle Alley" and this is just one side of the alley. These trees are old and thick as can be. And, they overlap at the top. It was near closing time at the Arboretum with the sun casting low shadows between the tightly knit limbs. I used Adobe's NIK to create a monochrome version.
