On Valentine's Day a coalition of environmental groups led by Third Act NYC, along with allies from XRNYC, Stop the Money Pipeline, Greenfaith, 350NYC, Rise And Resist and many other organizations, delivered a letter to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon demanding an immediate end to all new fossil-fuel investing, and that Chase redirect its investments to renewable sources of energy. Climate activists gathered on June 14, 2023 at Brooklyn Borough Hall for a teach-in and art action highlighting successful initiatives implemented this year to combat the climate crisis, reduce consumers' energy expenses, and expose the obstructive climate hypocrisy of National Grid and ConEdison at both the city and state levels.
