Apparently I'm highly suggestible after seeing all the painted spoons being pinned I went and made some - I wasn't sure if I liked the painted ends so I went with stripes instead. I am a little concerned I'll forget they aren't untreated and leave them in a pan, I guess they're not as practical as they are cute...

Six silver spoons from our canteen of cutlery, received as a wedding gift 49 years ago, reflect the ceiling and walls of the dining room.
We hiked across from Forresters Beach to Spoon Bay. It was fantastic being so close to crashing waves. Several times I felt like grabbing my tripod and bolting because it looked like I was going to be swamped, but each time the rocks would quickly arrest the wave right at my feet.

just so cute I couldn't resist. Since people are asking about the variety a lot from all over check out www.osteospermum.com/albums/spoonedalbum.htm Pick a variety and ask your local garden centre . They are pretty hardy though orginally from South Africa growing happily outside in the UK in my mums back garden ......
This spoon has a slot in the middle which made an interesting shape and reflection on some wraping paper
