Spiderman is a big hit at the minute. This is the second 2D one I've had to do in as many months, and the 3rd overall. Got to love the colours. Royal icing runout spiderman mask with fondant lettering and spiders,

I must admit that I didn't really enjoy making this one. Not feeling too healthy today and all I wanted to do was lie down but this is needed for tomorrow so I had to just get on with it. Luckily I had already made Spiderman but I cut back on the design of cake to enable me to finish a bit quicker than I would have otherwise. Don't ask me why the sky is orange or why there is a moon - it just felt right at the time.... :-)

This was for my nephew's eighteen birthday. It combined his childhood love of spiderman with his coming of age, hence the can of fosters!

Another shot from the strobist meetup at the skatepark. I hope I'm not boring you with all these shots. I tried some tonemapping of a single jpeg using qtpfsgui, and I thought it came out pretty cool. This shot reminds me of spiderman.

I believe the strobe was full power camera left, handheld.

This is the wall from the 1st Spiderman movie where Spidey gets a kiss from MJ in the rain. Spidey was having trouble with water going up his nose until somebody came up with the idea of stuffing vasoline soaked cotton balls up his nose.
