I have always loved album art. My father has a whole treasure trove sitting in the closet and he won't let me "borrow" his Technics turntable from way back when (I plan on putting the albums up in my loft soon). I've always been into music because of him and that glorious marvel that WAS MTV as a kid in the 80s. And growing up I always worked and had extra cash to blow at Lou's Records, Just Play Music, or whatever place I could get my fix.
I loved the art, the liner notes, the thank yous, etc. It killed me when my first book of 200 CDs (and guitar) was stolen out of my car while working at Legoland living Kevin Spacey's dream. Home owners insurance covered the stolen discs IF I sent in the album covers. At which point I went on a massive spending spree, only to find them ripped off again by the crackheads in Home Depots parking lot while I returned their stolen goods for cash. Insurance covers again and drops me. Go on another binge... Only to have that book stolen again when ghetto rats threw spark plugs through my car window. Such a vicious cycle. Obviously I don't bring all my CDs anymore (but I don't own an iPod).
Well, this is what I have left and the collection keeps growing thanks to Used CDs online for under $10. Now it's all a pile in the corner of my room until I figure out how I'm going to put this mess up on my wall.
Fuck Bush, Cheney, and all the war criminals current and former in that vile institution we call Washington.
Vote Ron Paul. Vote Kucinich. Vote for anything but politics as usual.

First the bad news - we've just found out that for reasons beyond his control (and ours!) RAS DIGBY is unable to make tomorrow night's session. We wish him all the best and will definitely be hooking up with him later in the year so don't fear!
Now the good news - standing in for the Sir Jessus legend, we welcome back the mighty NATTY FRONTLINE - the dubplate master! People are still talking about his last session with us when he went dub for dub with 'The Ras' - dropping exclusive classic material and some SERIOUS B-LINES for the Silver Bullet Massive! Expect no less of him this time around - Natty Frontline ALWAYS delivers the musical goods! Short notice? For sure! Short changed? NEVER!
JUMBO of the mighty JAVA HI-POWER is regarded as one of the finest selectors to ever put needle to dubplate! Java were one of the ruling Sounds back when Sounds ruled and to be a top selector in such a competitive arena, in an era where new ground was being broken constantly, speaks volumes for the great man's skill, judgement and all around quality. He is quite simply gonna mash it up! Welcome back also!

Trust we!

Biography
We are a London based Reggae sound system, known for promoting our own nights and performing at various festivals including StokeFest, FinFest, Shoreditch Car Free Day, Volcano (Hackney Marshes), London Fields etc. We have played with some of London's original sound system legends including Jah Observer, Gladdy Wax, Jah Youth and Channel One.
We play reggae music in all styles and patterns (old to new, JA to UK and beyond) whilst maintaing the all important musical flow. We are committed to playing on our own physical 'sound system' and don't just use the term as a marketing tool - when we say 'sound system' we mean lifting boxes, running cables etc. If we play without the sound we try to ensure that it is advertised as such.
Anyway many thanks for taking the time to look at this page and for more info be sure to visit our website: www.solutionsoundsystem.com/
At Castlewellan today this man was walking around with an improvised sound system strapped around his chest… batteries and wires all taped together and hung by a strap around his neck. There might be some 'care in the community' going on here.
One thing's for sure - he ain't getting through Heathrow listeneing to his favourite jazz tracks.

Yes, this bike does have a sub woofer. And those white boxed on either side of the rear rack are rear facing speakers.
