Week 2 - Ghetto Lighting

What better lighting is there, for a 7 year old, than a light-saber?

Luke's light saber but dressed all in black... Jedi or Sith, light or darkside of the force? ... you decide!

(oh, and bit of trivia... my spell checker recognises Jedi but not sith).

Here's my first Darth Vader Gundam since 2013's TIE Advanced Sazabi, my Sith Interceptor Gundam. I combined an IBO frame with the Gundam Astray Noir and Vader's Sith Interceptor.

Rookie, that's what they always call him. He never asked for this, but atleast he's part of the Jedha Scout team. Traveling at all cost, just to raise the Empire's flag to the nation and smuggle every Kyber Crystal hidden on the ground.

A few of my dolls that were on my table. I just wanted to show off how cute Prunella looks in the pink dress, I think it suits her very much!

This portrait was taken at Steampunks In Space.

a red sith light saber. pretty simple desine. if u want me to make more please ask =]

You don't want to cross his path... You really don't...

Her body paint was fantastic. I like how her eyes turned out in the photo too.

This is from our Star Wars themed shoot with cosplayers Connie Torres and Kat MacLaren - Connie doing her "Sith" cosplay (pictured here) and Kat doing her "miraluka" (as a grey jedi) cosplay. This photoshoot was beyond fun - we all had such a blast!

It was also my first time using my new camera - a Canon 6d. The 6d blew me away - quite a jump from the T3i that I was using before!

For lighting, this time we went a little nuts. We used 6 YN-560iii's. Two behind the models - both bare. Two in gridded softboxes pointed in from both sides of the frame. One in a beauty dish above and in front of the models, and one (bare) bounced off the concrete they were standing on (coming in from in front of the models, slightly camera left) to fill in a bit of the shadows.

........ ;3.......

Darth Ragus; known as the Sith of Rage. He is always angry. When really angered he chokes anyone near him to satisfy his anger. As we can see here.

Yep more newspaper and some fun editing. I'll be heading home tomorrow and when I do get home I might post a loot pic if I am not too tired >.>......

Enjoy!

Tried to play with the light her saber was emitting instead of using a flash as I really liked the shadows and shading on her face and hair from the saber.

Background darkened with PS and Nik Software's Silver Efex to minimize/desaturate the gentlemen behind the cosplayer.

I love combining custom parts from different vendors and trying to create some neat figures.

I'm quite pleased how this one turned out and I have not used any computer programs to enhance this or even remove the background though it does look cleanly removed.

So today we have:

Arealight, Amazing Armory, BrickForge and BrickArms

Enjoy!

Not all magazines are going under, I guess.

Okay, so it's Revenge Of The Sith Palpy, not Jedi, but the look works!

Had an idea and it sorta came out like I hoped. Some ways it's better than my original idea, some ways not. Just a "portrait" pic of one of my favorite Darth Maul toys mixed up with a self-portrait. Various textures and adjustments were made along the way as well. Just got CS4, so it was more of a journey of trial and error than a clean execution of a clearly defined plan. At any rate, it was a fun edit.

View On Black

Again I am continuing the series with the Jedi Knight, and the Sith Assassin.

Hope you enjoyed it.

I used Elemental Action to add some different shading to her light-saber and really make her ring pop and look menacing.

My Isul Sith wearing the set a made. I designed this set with Sith's hair and eye color in mind. Because he has olive green hair I had to get him!
