A older couple fullfilling all the true meanings of life, moment, scene and nature in single shot. Dont know who they are but I feel they share the passion for life, marriage, sea and the sun. This bench cant be used any better than this...

Incredible edibles in Castries.
Ah, here we are, at the beginning of September, the first colours of what may well be my favourite food are appearing. Well, as they're growing in a square near the first communal compost bins, there's no doubt that someone else will be able to harvest them. And that's what sharing tomatoes is all about.

During the snow storm many birds stopped to eat I had put the seeds on the ground for the Doves but as you can see they were willing to share.

Clever, I thought, and needed in more places. If you have a subscription or are a member you can switch out your tired battery here for a fresh one. It's only the company's batteries (popwheels) and presumably they are high quality batteries of low fire risk.
More here.

Whether we’re rolling on 2 wheels, 18+, or anywhere between, let’s be safe out there!
The late Albert Szukalski, a Polish-Belgian visual artist, did a number of these “ghost” sculptures outside the Nevada ghost town of Rhyolite in the late 1980’s. Another group of them titled, “The Last Supper” is the most well known but this one actually spoke more to me and it was wonderfully lit on this morning just after the sun crested the ridgeline in the east. There was no title noted anywhere but “Ghost Rider” seems the obvious choice.
The Brooklyn bridge has a wood plank shared walkway for pedestrians and cyclists. In the past the bridge also supported elevated trains and streetcar traffic in the center lanes of the lower level. Train traffic was stopped in 1944; streetcars in 1950. Today the lower level has six lanes for car traffic.
Not sure why but when one thinks of NYC bridges the Brooklyn bridge seem to be 'the' bridge that springs to mind.
Some facts:
Started in 1870 completed in 1883.
Over a mile in length.
Connects Manhattan island with the borough of Brooklyn (and vice versa).
The first steel wire suspension bridge ever built.
When first completed it was the largest suspension bridge in the world. (Bigger by half than the previous record holder.)
In May 2008 the NY celebrated the 125th anniversary of the bridge's opening.

While feeding on the elk carcas another Coyote approaches in hopes of being accepted to feed. Unfortunately, the coyote who was there first wasn't going to have anything to do with sharing what scraps were left.
This image was taken two days after the image to the right. It's amazing how quickly a carcas is consumed.
My favorite Somo River backwater is turtle heaven - so many of these little Painted turtles all over stumps, logs and the shoreline itself. These two caught my attention early, but it wasn't until I was heading out that I managed to get the boat in front of them. Miracle they didn't spook! They're only 4 or 5 inches long and so cute and surprisingly good climbers.
