Sharing the road to Bowman Lake with some of the local wildlife.

.

The hummers didn't seem to mind me being near them in the yard. There were quite a few, so I went back inside and grabbed the camera. These three eventually settled down and shared the feeder.

Happy Monochrome Bokeh Thursday!

The only period of time in a grizzly's life where sharing is allowed

This photo captures the setting of a scene that was part of an outdoor theatre play I photographed some years ago in my village. The play was written by the local amateur theatre group to honour and reminisce the shared collective #memories and traditions of the village. Below is the text I wrote when I originally uploaded this image, which I'm now submitting to the #Flickr21Challenge

Continuing with the outdoor theatre series to reveal what was behind the hanged clothes in that narrow street. This is where the key part of this scene takes place and the theme is homes, families and their shared memories.

This photo (and the two previous ones in the series) were taken shortly before sunset in the shade. It has some post-processing tinkering, especially with saturation and vibrance, decreased to give a more antique feel. Needless to say I'm completely out of my element here, so any comments/suggestions/criticism are more than welcome. :)

My wife and my son standing together and enjoying the view to the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland.

In the opposite direction you can find the famous Diamond Beach, where you can see (and photograph) ice blocks on black sand. Almost everybody took their images of the ice blocks, but for me the other direction worked best.

After its mom pulls a salmon carcass from the lake, her large grizzly cub, around 2.5 years old, tries to get a bit of her salmon carcass, Chilko Lake, British Columbia. She carried the carcass into the nearby woods and I didn't see if the cub got to share.

This was taken in The Pantanal, Brazil and the spaces available for the macaws to land or rest on the cliffs are few . Here is an image that was taken where they were sharing their small space. Such a beautiful sight and I was hopeful to capture this moment.

Wishing you a beautiful and blessed day !!!!!!!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

Two red-breasted nuthatches (Sitta canadensis) sharing the peanut butter feeder.

Actually barely tolerating each other. They seem to be quite aggressive tiny little birds, and almost always chase off all comers.

The Detroit River is the border between Canada and the United States. One side is the Canadian city of Windsor and on the other side is Detroit, also known as the ‘Motor City’ (Motown). Windsor and Detroit share a lot and one thing the people on the Windsor side enjoy is the view of Detroit’s skyline. Prominent on that skyline is the Renaissance Centre the world headquarters of General Motors
