Summer 2011 led me to the job of pre-fabricating and construction managing a row of bespoke shops at Vintage Festival, on London's Southbank.
The project was run by Secret Productions and Papa Projects, working closely with all the brands and the festival organisers.
The street design and layout was designed by Secret Productions very own Nick Bartlett. With artwork supplied by the brands, which was then hand painted by the talented paint crew De5ign4
The shops were then occupied, during the festival, by designer brands such as Cath Kidston, New Era and Benefit.
jj ZONE is a 2,250 sq ft modern/contemporary, professional location studio with porcelain floor, plantation shutters, muslin, designer furniture, moveable walls, bespoke corian kitchen with Smeg appliances and wet room bathroom. Full studio facilities including colorama, polyboards etc with 42' uninterrupted shoot space. Selection of themed colour props. Located in Perseverance Works, Shoreditch. NB NOT SUITABLE FOR SETBUILDING. THERE IS NO BED IN THIS STUDIO

Generously donated by the artist, Helaman Ferguson and his wife, this nine-ton sculpture sits in the courtyard outside the building. "The Invisible Handshake" was carved from an ancient 22-ton granite block from South Africa.

Some photographs of the bar/stage area we built out of a pile of reclaimed materials for Favela Chic and Sagatiba at Lovebox Festival 2010. This was a speedy collaboration between myself, Edwin Peel, The Do Lab, Papa Productions and Mario Frulio from Favela Chic.

A chemistry demonstration room was designed with wall that open to adjoining classrooms, enabling students to watch demonstrations . Cameras in the rooms allow experiments to be projected to a larger group via video monitors.

The countertops in the geology lab are made from different classes of rock - metamorphic, sedimentary, and igneous rock.
