There are always sample glazes on his work table with notations on each one for future reference if the glaze is to be replicated...I love the possibilities.
These are not real foods but fake foods samples, so not eatable. Most of these are made from plastic and wax.

The 18-300 superzoom, the first Tamron lens for Fujifilm, tries to be the biggest allrounder possible, and delivers solidly. Very nice at the wide end, with solid corners and edges, capable of good results on the long end, with a fairly short minimal focusing distance also capable of macro shots. The sharpness is decent for this kind of lens, it´s fully weather sealed, and equipped with effective stabilization - for those who can´t take more than one lens, this is currently the best option. This is of course no Fujifilm lens, you have to focus very exactly, there is some heavy (but well removable) CA, focusing is fast and silent but absolutely not suited for action photography, and the stabilization is of the typical Tamron type, very strong but kicking like a mule by certain shutter speeds. All together, when traveling this lens lets you make photos which you simply would not get with a standard zoom, and it´s optically impressive for a universal superzoom, a cathegory mostly known for poor perfomance. The Fujifilm 18-135 is superior to the 18-300 in every parameter, but it´s simply not that long.

Looking for a book to save paper samples. This one was pretty easy to make - it's an accordion folded strip of paper. I put double stick tape between the folds on one side, leaving the other side free so I can glue on my sample. I put a museum board cover on this one. I think this would work better for my needs.
