Granny Square Sampler, Jamie Venci, 2013

I decided to take a samples... and photos while I was brewing the other day :)

This shrug is made of 100% handspun wool from southern Colorado. It is made with a sample of stitches making it truly unique.

Cuffs are 4" long, body of shrug is 40" from cuff to cuff.

This shrug is perfect for Colorado's ever changing weather!

The monome lights arranged like a moonenite.

6 different threadings and 36 different treadlings.

you can see the contrast between the straight lines, curves, and feathers

MY first block for our sampler quilt. It is made of a Jelly Roll. I enjoyed making it! Great! Unfortunately the colours didn't came out right, the red-looking parts are normally pink, the dark ones are dark violet...

Featuring basic couching, trailing, slanted satin stitch couching, blanket stitch couching, ladder stitch couching, bokhara couching, circular couching and roumanian couching.
